Fish Fry: Consistently hot, flaky, not greasy fish fry. I donât know how they get the breading encrusted so perfectly! This is not the ânormalâ fish fry you get at local restaurants. You will not be disappointed! Potato Pancakes: Homemade and all I can say is, yum! I wasnât a potato pancake fan until I had the All In Pub and Grubâs! Italian beef/Sausage Combo: Huge portion! Beef Au Jus is a rich homemade broth and has a little kick to it! We enjoyed! Very friendly waitstaff who are attentive and quick to service you! We like going to All Inn Pub and Grub! Relaxed atmosphere with friendly locals and restaurant owners.

I'm not sure what went on but my husband and our friend waited at a table for over 20 minutes for a server and when she finally came took our drink order and told us she was doing just the drink order when we said we'd like to order. Now we waited another 15 minutes for the drinks. I ordered a draft beer and after someone else delivered it after my husbands and friends drink I noticed something at the bottom of my glass. It looked like a seed or something that stuck on the bottom. I asked for it to be replaced and someone did. Thank goodness the food was good. Our lunch experience took over 1 and 1/2 hours. That was a really long lunch.

This is the craziest place. Nothing fancy, smells like a bar, drink prices are very cheap.Order food and WOW! You name it, for a bar they have it, difference is it is really good. This is a rare find, I love this place and free popcorn to boot.

I checked this place out tonight to see why it seemed to be so popular. Like any new place I figured it would wear off by now. But being a Saturday evening it was well attended. We were seated right away. The service was good and the drinks were also pretty good. We ordered the tavern style pizza which was very good but hard to cut with a knife on the plastic plates. All in all, I was not too impressed with the ambiance, and it was very noisy. Probably a location I wonât be a regular customer

If you are a fan of French fry fan, you will love Bulldog AlÄ House. The fry selection is outrageous. Try the truffle fries and the bruschetta fries are delicious. I also had the homemade pot pie was ok. My coworkers had the hot wings and they were hot and taste, baked potato soap was good, the French dip sandwich with homemade sausages was wonderful. Apple Martini was ok, but good price. Wonderful service for business travelers in a group (they will give you separate checks). Great place to check out.

They have a good variety of food and beer/drink options. Everything we had the table was good (Impossible Jailhouse burger, California avocado burger, Stuffed Avocado Dinner). They have outdoor seating and a rooftop patio. We were in on a Monday and they had live music that you could hear throughout the place.

I've been back twice since my last review and both times the service and the food was exceptional! I had the Pub Sandwich Blackened! Yum! And the Saganaki is always delicious! I even had the bartender make me a banana daiquiri and that too was awesome! The Village Squire is one of the better restaurants to be found in McHenry!! Keep up the good work!

We visited After the Fox for the first time for dinner last night. It is located on the Fox river and we had a table with a nice view of the water. The waitress, Mallory, was a delight! She explained all of the specials (and there were tons). We were there for a light meal, so settled for a burger and grilled cheese. The fried cheese curds as the appetizer special were excellent. Mallory suggested to come back for the Friday fish fry, as there are many options. We plan to go back! Thanks, Mallory!

Our monthly group chose this place once again. We were blessed that the rain stopped before we arrived so that we could sit outside. Great views from their brand new deck area.We ordered a couple of samplers platters. All were good, including the mini-tacos. A definite must have for our next visit. I ordered the Breaded Pork and Tater Tots. Our server didn't know us before we walked in. She knew us all by name before the afternoon was over. All drinks served to who they were supposed to go to. Great job done for a large group.

Located a quarter-mile south of Route 120, at 801 N. River Road, The Snuggery in McHenry is a riverside bar, grill and indoor/outdoor entertainment complex. Just a few blocks from downtown McHenry, guests can drink with panoramic views of the Fox River fr
Tried this place after not being here in a while. Food quality is crap, squeeze cheese on nachos- yuck and CHEAP. Service with no sense of urgency or smile. the waitress made sure to spend time checking her phone while customers we're waiting. Bears vs. Packers and their is 15 open tables, don't they think this is a problem??? Fix you food and service and maybe you can fill the place up. If not, I won't be back or others. Manager hardly seen , what is he doing??????
