While out visiting Brookfield Zoo we needed a place to stop on the way home for dinner. This seemed to be the closest so we thought we would give it a try! We were very pleasantly surprised! The décor of the restaurant is 'industrial' and looks very new and clean. The staff was very friendly and everything about this restaurant was great. Everyone in our party ordered something different off the menu and everyone loved what they got from the ribs to the Caesar salad to the burgers. I would definitely come back!!

Arrived at opening and we were warmly greeted by Roberto. After viewing the menu and given warm bread with olive oil, Roberto answered some menu questions. We ordered and thoroughly enjoyed Gnocchi alla Vodka and Penne Prosciutto e Piselli. Both meals were EXCELLENT and presented well.

We have met extended family members here and have always had delicious pizza with the beers. I really enjoyed the Kentucky Common. Light taste, but good substance! We've been to a few small breweries and most do not have any food. It's worth going just for the homemade woodfire pizza. It's been a great find for us!

They have the best pizza. The crust is almost like a cracker. It did take a while but it was definitely worth the wait. They have a nice outdoor area for smokers. The staff is nice and pleasant. The bar area is a little dark for my taste but it's a bar.

Excellent value! Very different (in a good way!) pizza than most places in and around Chicago. Very good appetizers and pasta dishes, too; baked, not fried. Very enthusiastic service. They have an old-school Ms. PacMan machine too!

This would be great pizza if it were the 1970s, and your other options were Little Caesarâs and Dominos. However, in the 21st Cenrtury, there are so many better options, even among national chains. Visitors to Chicago who feel compelled to try Chicago deep dish will find it here. Just donât confuse it with GOOD pizza. Hi Eric, we are sorry to see you had a disappointing experience with us. We would love to hear from you about this more directly. What could we have done better? Please click the link to fill out the corresponding information. The place is legendary and proves every time why!I always come in ready to buy a particular item. But my mind usually changes when I see the food displayed! Some fabulous food just calls my name and I have to get it.Just the other day, I came in open minded and the chicken parm and rice balls were calling me. They were awesome continuing the long amazing track record of great food from Freddyâs.Pizza, gelato and everything they make and sell is special. Do yourself a favor and experience Freddyâs!

I drove to North Riverside to visit with and family before our flight to Greece. After I came in, I was asked did I want Fish and Chips or Italian. I told them I had fish Wed. evening. So we went to La Barra. I expected better after reading the history of La Barra. I compare the food to a Italian Restaurant in Lexington, Ky. I found La Barra did not compare. The portion I had was small. The wait staff was very efficient. I would not go back if I was not in a group. The Grandkids enjoyed their selection of food. Everyone has their on taste in food. The tiramisu was the best.
