Things to do in Buffalo Grove
When in town this is the food I look forward to the most. Cannot go wrong with a Rosati's pizza. The pizza's seem to more closely resemble Italian pizza, which is the original and best. The seasoning is just right and they are never too dry or too greasy. OK; so not the cheapest but it's fine to pay a bit extra if you only have it every blue moon. Bit too steep to have every week. I've just made myself very hungry.Recommended

Food was mediocre only the service was worse. The place itself is homey and they have music sometimes. Chairs were uncomfortable and I will not visit again. Located in the Has-Been village of Long Grove.

My family had some sandwiches from Joe's and were impressed. Great Italian flavor and feel and the value was right on. Service was awesome and parking was easy. We'll definitely be back to try their pizza, which many people were ordering. The place hops with take-away food, so that's another option to experience Joe's as well.

Pizanoz Pizza is a delicious Italian restaurant. While pizza is our specialty we do have other amazing dish. We are mostly carry-out but, we do have a small dining area. Come try our food today.
I stopped by Pizano's Pizza in Buffalo Grove for the first time in September 2013. Upon entering, the restaurant itself is fairly small, but very clean. There are a lot of seats along the wall to eat at as well for the people that may want to eat in (I think a great deal of their business is take outs and deliveries). I had ordered a Buffalo-sauce Grilled Chicken Sandwich (the menu only shows a Buffalo Breaded sandwich, but they will make grilled upon request), and the meat was tender and juicy, with a lot of buffalo sauce, ranch sauce, onions and tomatos on a slightly grilled bun. It was excellent! All of their normal food is made to order. The sandwich after tax was less than $5.00.I had also tried a slice of their thin-crust bacon, pepperoni, sausage pizza, and this was very good as well. The staff was very friendly, and I will definitely come again. Thank you!

If you consider that there is Pizza Hut, Little Cesaers, etc. and also Giordanos and Lou Malnati's all nearby, you can place Tortorice's squarely in the mid-range pizza places between those two other levels. The thin-crust pizza here is consistently good and so are the other options on their expansive menu. Another pizza place nearby seems to be getting A LOT of business but we still head over to Tortorices because they're close by and the pizza is consistently good.

This new restaurant provides a step-above the average pizza take-out. Don't miss the chicken and the homemade au gratin potatoes. They taste just like homemade (maybe even bettter). The staff is friendly and well informed. They were helpful with identifying menu items that could be eaten by some with allergies and food intolerance issues. This is becoming a family favorite.

#1 Pizza in the Northwest Subburbs
This is our go to place for thin crust pizza we always order extra crisp with double sausage because their sausage is so good and their dinner selections are just as good.

Loaded with family traditions, homemade BBQ sauce and a secret family pizza sauce. Owner Joanie Shunia has renovated the space to include a new bar and a bright, welcome interior which house some of the original recipes from the first Village Pizza of Det
We were in the area spending Christmas with our family. We had tickets to "Holiday Inn" and were looking for an after-theater meal. Pizza was suggested and gluten-free was a must. I always count on Google and Trip Advisor and once again they did not fail me! Joanie's is locally owned and the owner himself helped the five of us find a spot. He noted that karaoke would begin in just over an hour. Well, the pizza, both gluten and gluten-free were great! MANY choices of toppings and sizes to please all. Great salad, too. We all enjoyed our choices AND were dubious when the karaoke equipment was brought it, but that just brought more pleasure to our evening. This guy had a following at Joanie's and were quite good at the numbers they sang. It wasn't loud and rowdy, and we stayed on enjoying the music and people involved. We highly recommend all aspects of Joanie's! (It looked as though they had a good takeout pizza business going, too.)
