We were here last year and it was much better. The waitresses seemed frazzled and one did nothing but complain the entire time we were there. The lasagna was cold in the center and while we would have sent it back we saw our waitress to order and then by the time we saw her again we were done. The clam chowder was good.

First time to Rosarioâs for us. Wanted something different than the usual Chicagoland big chains. Was not disappointed. Their new location is very nice and great place for family or group outing. They have a nice patio to enjoy the weather as well. I have to try wings any time we go to a new restaurant and this tends to be how I know if weâre headed for something good or not. These were huge, the wing sauce was spicy but not overwhelming and well presented. We each had different dishesâAlfredo, Italian Beef and one of their thin crust specialty pizzas. All were excellent. I donât often return to local places once visited. But we will be back here.
Not exactly a restaurant, more like a deli and catering business, Elena's is located off Lake Street in a business office complex. While they make lots of wonderful homemade Italian food, the focaccia bread is out of this world! At least five different kinds, these breads are worth the price. Though one bread can feed a family, I prefer to eat most of it myself, just can't stop eating it.Perfect to complement any meal. Just have to remember them because they are off the beaten path.

Venutiâs is a wonderful place for any gathering. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was truly unique. The entrees were delicious and the seafood tasted very fresh. Not to mention the service was incredibly friendly and helpful.Audrey thanks for stopping by! We really appreciate the 5 star review!

Love this place! The food is fabulous, the ambiance is pleasant and weâve never had anything less than excellent service. The eggplant parmigiana, served on a bed of vermicelli, melts in your mouth. Momma's lasagna is much better than my momma's pasta. The Taylor Street Baked Ziti is true Chicago Italian. The portions are huge and the fresh bread is refilled if you want. If you order one of the classic or speciality pastas you get a free pasta to take home (they freeze well). Maggiano's prices are an exceptional value, especially for a white tablecloth, full service restaurant. Want to avoid the crowd and parking crunch, go for a late lunch or early dinner.

Riccardo's Ristorante is a spectacular restaurant with an amazing array of delicious meals. Wife, Katy Garcia's collection of angels displayed inside the restaurant blends perfectly with husband Chef Waldo Garcia's old-fashioned Italian menu items and dai
Their thin-crust pizza is excellent. They have ingredients like artichoke hearts and giardiniera that many others don't. I've always wanted to try their deep-dish but I love their thin-crust too much to pass up. Besides pizza, they have lots of other Italian and American dishes. Great family place.

Another old reliable resturant with a great history. It was Wednesday night, but often on weekend they have singers and some are customers. I had, Wednesday special, eggplant parmesan, chicken parmesan, sausage and peppers and Rigatoni Ala Vodka for $14.95. No young people in here and seldom is. No craft beer and no draft beer. Just bottles. Good food, good service good prices. All good.

This restaurant is in the middle of a strip mall. A very spacious, pure Italian setting. The menu is deliciously extensive. The usual Italian dishes mixed with some uniques offerings. The table is furnished with the usual olive oil, parmesan cheese, with a bagel and fuchsia. However, it also featured olives and a marinara sauce. We enjoyed sautéed calamari stuffed with shrimp and vegetablesâfantastic! We selected Flank fish, which is similar to Mahi-Mahi and Yellow Tail Jack, which is similar to grouper. Both were in a delicious seasoned sauce, with vegetables, potatoes, and homemade Polenta. They have a small bar with seats and outside seating, as well as the elegant main area. It looks Italian, tastes Italian, and is a winner!

( a good sign)Pizzaâs are a bit pricey but excellent. If you have a coupon make sure you let them know when ordering and have in-hand when paying. They also make regular deliveries to Pollyanna Brewery nearby.

I have never had authentic Chicago deep dish pizza before so I asked around and several people told me this was the best place to go. The pizza was delicious! This restaurant was very loud so I wouldnât recommend it for an intimate date night or business dinner. There is a carry out restaurant if you donât have time to wait and there is also frozen pizza for sale. When you order just know that it takes at least 30 minutes for them to bake your pizza so order an appetizer and just be patient.
