Its a small deli and meat-counter kinda joint. It looks like it belongs in little Italy, but is here in Mt Greenwood- yeah for us. Other than the predictable meats and sausages, you must got for the pizza set-ups. Pizzas come in thin or thick crust (3 to the set-up), sauce and cheese. Meats are extra, but not too overly priced. Other than the set-ups, the sausages I have tried have nice flavor, they do not skimp on the seasoning. Give'em a try!!!

Absolutely wonderful experience! The restaurant is beautiful, the bar is large enough to sit and have a drink before dinner, and the food is wonderful. If you sign up, you get a % off your age for your birthday. The owner walks around the restaurant-nice touch for sure. Love this place. Great Italian menu! Will definitely go back.

There is nothing bad about this place but nothing stands out either. We have tried it several times. Typical family restaurant with huge menu. With so many othe choices in the area we'll skip this one in the future.

They have a much better than average wine list. A pleasant surprise for sure. Their menu was extensive with numerous options that included build your own pasta dish. A great choice anytime, but fantastic for a late night option!
When Nancy & Rocco Palese opened their first Nancy's Pizza in 1974 at Harlem Ave. & Lawrence Ave. in Harwood Heights, I fell in love with their stuffed pizza. When we were visiting friends in Alsip recently & talked about ordering a pizza, they mentioned that there was a Nancy's Pizzeria nearby. We decided to order one and went to pick it up. We were surprised to find that this Nancy's is a descendant of sorts of that first Nancy's Pizzeria. And the taste was as good as I remembered. We ordered two large stuffed sausage pizzas, one with mushrooms and one without. They were delicious. If you have an opportunity, this would be a great place to go for a stuffed pizza.

Was there with family for dinner. Service was slow. I ordered the eggplant on texas toast and what I got was a toasted french like split roll with one or two slices of cheese with marinara sauce and two small slices of eggplant. I wound up cutting the excess bread away and had a 3x3 inch 'meal'. The cole slaw was also pretty bad.

We were a party of four who made a 5:30 pm reservation on a Saturday night in order to get in. Not surprisingly the place was packed when we arrived. The complimentary valet parked the car and we checked in with the hostess. After 20 minutes and a drink at the bar, we were seated and almost immediately greeted by our server, Beth. We had linguini with clams, tortellini with roasted vegetables, gnocchi, and angel hair with a bolognese sauce. All were very good, generous portions and reasonably priced. The service was top shelf and the restaurant was filled with regulars which was no surprise given the food and the service.

Waitresses and staff always nice- Calamari is good, minestrone soup is great, house salad dressing makes it hard to decide soup or salad-Their stuffed rigatoni is the absolute best! I crave the rigatoni! I have tried other things and they are good but I always go back to the rigatoni! Defiantly recommend here and they have daily specials-

We arrived in town and I saw the review and decided we had to try it. We got a seat in the bar area. There were various TVs around but the sound was down. The waitress showed up and I told her we had no idea as to what was the best to order. She suggested the meatball appetizer. --- DoneWe then ordered two different Italian dishes. Way too much food. The meatballs were very good. The appetizer is 15 (I think) small meatballs with sauce (gravy) and cheese. Very tasty. We finished half of them. The meals were good too and, of course, we took food to our daughter's for her to have leftovers.Best was the chef came out to chat with us and others. I always like that they come out and see what people think of their dishes. I'm glad we went.

During the day there is waitress service--waitress service comes on at 4pm during the week. The food is really good. The cheese sticks were huge. The deep dish pizza was filling. There is a bar--your still able to order an alcohol beverage during the day--just order it with your food and meet the order taker at the bar. Prices are very reasonable.
