For openers, VIP Thai is right across the street from the movie theater, making it a convenient way to top off a little outing. More importantly, the food is outstanding, the service prompt and friendly and the ambiance inviting. The menu offers a wide range of choices that covers the waterfront for the most experienced Thai cuisine expert as well as options for pickier diners. The panang curry with chicken is a personal favorite.

I live in the city so I never would have found Mapo on my own. But my Chinese family likes to go here on New Year's Day, so we headed over here as a group. I did see a comment about it not being "real Chinese", but I can say that my sister-in-law, who was born in Xi'an and lived there until her 30's (her family still lives there--she's the only one who resides in the US) has said this is her favorite Chinese restaurant. It reminds her of food she would have in China. And while there are some great dishes here--the country style beef is my favorite, and I don't usually like beef dishes--I was not about to try the pig intestine that even the other Americans said was not bad.

I order take and the occasional delivery from Great Wall. They have a great selection of old and new favorites. My children go to Children's Creative Corner, I order while driving to pick them up and the food is always waiting for me. They were one of the few to deliver during the Polar vortex! My favorite local Chinese restaurant!

Just an average place with average food and average (if not slightly below average) service. We were not impressed at all by the food, especially when comparing this place to other Korean restaurants in the area. The service was slow and the language barrier was hindering at times when asking for clarification on menu items. If you are craving Korean and can't get to the city or the northern burbs this place will curb the appetite. Like I said, just average.

My son & I ordered off the menu & passed on the all you can eat option. Glad we did. The shrimp tempura was prepared perfectly. Grilled our own short ribs. Excellent quality of meat & marinade. Sides were delicious & numerous. Service was very good as well. A very good Korean restaurant.

This restaurant serves good sushi. The place is kinda hidden in Ogden Avenue, small place that really gets full during lunch & dinner. A must try if in the area! Unagi sushi is really good. Beef teriyaki is a must try.
While I was looking for a sushi outlet in Lisle I found this... Well... this place is a Japanese and Korean food joint. It was almost full when we reached there. We ordered Spicy California roll and ramen. The portions and prices are decent, food is really a delight to have with quick service...

This place has been around for over 20 years. Doesn't look like much but food is very good and service is very attentive. We had the House Pan Fried noodles. It is excellent. Also had the seasoned fried calamari but this was just ok. Love those noodles. Also have the pot stickers. Yum.

From the calming and minimalist environment to the very open sushi bar this place is fantastic. We started with Edamame and then had the California Sunset, Caterpillar & Dynamite. All were presented beautifully and tasted just as good. Our server explained each entree and was attentive. This was a great meal and we will definitely be back!
