I had a fantastic quick lunch. Fresh and friendly atmosphere with plenty of great selections to choose from.
My wife and don love Culver's cheese curds. I on the other hand enjoy a good "Butter Burger." Even though I have yet to figure out where the "butter" is, it is still wonderful
We had lunch here, after a movie at the theater just down the street. Delicious, ample portions (some taken home). Good solid food. Excellent lady who welcomed us. Very attentive waitress, even though we came in just before quitting time.

Food is always high quality and very tasty. Looks like a great north woods restaurant right here in Woodstock. Large portions, very reasonably priced and happy atmosphere. Friday fish fry outstanding!!

Come one, come all to an excellent place for a great BBQ bite to eat! This little gem in front of the Harley dealer in Woodstock is serving scrumptious BBQ during the lunch hour. I went easy and had "The Moo" which is the beef brisket sandwich. That is just one of about 10 sandwiches featuring beef, prok and chicken. However, have you ever had spicy cole slaw? Well it's here and it's delicious! I highly recommend this little place for a luncheon visit.

Decent diner food. With good specials often with soup and drinks. Plenty of breakfast items along with lunch and dinner entreeâs. Service is very quick, lunch can be only 45 minutes.

We had been here previously and were not impressed, but thought that we would give Niko's another try. Once again...we were disappointed. We had the meatloaf sliders which had a piece of tasteless meatloaf, what tasted like instant mashed potaotes on top and jarred gravy. We also ordered the Italian beef egg rolls which were better, but just so-so.We would not return to Niko's...there are too many other options in Woodstock :(

Three people for burgers with one appetizer, no dessert and no alcohol and we wound up with an 80$ bill. I canât imagine what a family of four with a drinker or two would be! So this would have to be a special occasion type place rather then a weekend dinner type place. We enjoy the pretzel appetizer (there were only three pieces of pretzel but they were warm and it was perfect for our group). We had one vegetarian that really enjoyed the impossible burger! We really liked the tator tots and side salad. The lemonade was okay. The only item we did not enjoy was the cheese curds, and I never thought I would ever say that! They were just bland and too much strange batter. Super cute light bulbs, and I appreciated the MTV throwbacks I missed in my cable-less childhood.

Dinner with hubby & friend and we mostly enjoyed our entrees. The sliced brisket was tender and tasty. Pulled pork soft and delicious. Hubby said the chopped brisket was greasy though. I loved their baked beans with bits of ground beef - super tasty. The fresh baked rolls with cinnamon butter were good. Coleslaw was okay. Extensive beer and drink menu. This is a big sports bar/restaurant and can be noisy. Service was fast and courteous. Could use more light choices on menu. Hearty food so come with a good appetite!Thank you sooo much itâs our second location and twice as big and were just trying to keep the standard hi so people get the same experience we have given in Woodstock for 7 years

Owners Brian & Kathryn Loprino, veteran restaurateurs opened their first Public House Restaurant in 2003. By holding true to their creed - Exceptional Food - Great Spirits! They opened an additional location in 2008 serving Crystal Lake.
I have enjoyed eating lunch and dinner at the Public house. I enjoy the fish tacos. They offer gluten pasta. It is difficult to eat vegan here though unless you want just a salad. They offer six soups but only one is gluten free. They offer fresh fish options. They have great staff. Thank you for your review, we are happy to hear that you enjoy dining with us. We look forward to seeing you again in the near future.
