These places are a dying breed, love them and the nostalgic feel. The interior is a bit institutionalized with funky chairs, crooked tables, wood panel everything and filled with hard working people. You just know you are going to waddle out full and happy.Had breakfast at 2pm (just love doing this), service was solid and the coffee was perfectly café style. Would eat here again and again if I didn't live 1,800 miles away.

Fine Dining, Catering and Event Facility
We went on Sunday around 4pm; late lunch/early dinner. The restaurant was busy but not full. We were seated on the bar side of the restaurant and there were plenty of tables available there. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. This was my first visit to Glenwood Oaks Rib & Chop House. A friend local to the area took me there. The fresh bread was warm and good. The lobster bisque was flavorful. I prefer lobster bisque that at least has some noticeable chunks or bits in it. This did not but it didn't detract from the meal. The ribs were delicious and the highlight of my meal. And the potatoes served in a small bowl (think a large scoop of ice cream) were good. Standard beer selections with a couple of crafts available. Our server left much to be desired. She seemed very impatient and put out. My friend and I hadn't seen each other for over a year and it was to be a relaxing meal to catch up. Minutes after being seated the waitress introduced herself and asked about drinks. When I asked about craft beer options her tone came off as irritable. She handed me a beer card from her server wallet and walked away to get my friend's Coke. Upon her return I ordered my beer selection. When she returned with that she asked if we were ready to place the food order. I explained that this would be a slow mean since two old friends were catching up. Again I felt this somehow annoyed her. I made sure to have my dinner selected minutes later upon her return as I didn't want to risk exasperating her any further. Maybe she was working both rooms. I'm unsure. But on our side it wasn't so busy. I enjoyed the food but for the cost, I feel service could definitely have been better.
At Church's Chicken, we make real meals with the heart of the south and the Spirit of Texas giving our guests the chicken you crave and the taste you deserve. We've got pure honey-butter bliss with our made from scratch Honey-Butter Biscuits and that spic
The spicy chicken was very good! The regular chicken was a bit greasy and the biscuits were over cooked. We learned not to go on Tuesdays as its a busy day for the establishment. We will give them another try on a different day.

Home to America's favorite Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef, burgers, salads, and chocolate cake.
I usually travel to Chicago every 4-5 years. I usually start missing Deep Dish Pizza, and Garrett's Popcorn. NOW after the 1st time there add Portillo's to my Chicago Favorite Eats. Did a web search of Best Chicago Dogs before my visit and many places came up with great reviews. What I start noticing after reading many reviews is that a lot of reviews said the particular place they were reviewing was good but would rather have Portillo's instead, that sold me on Portillo's. Plus I liked the items on there menu. I had the loaded Portillo's Dog and the Combo Italian Sausage. Hot dog was excellent and all the flavors went great with the dog. I also had the Italian Sausage Combo. It's a very delicious Italian Sausage topped with Italian Beef and Sweet Peppers. The bread was very hearty and could stand up to this delicious masterpiece. What made it even better was the bread had certain places that was kind of soaked with the Aus Jus. Could have gotten it dipped or with extra gravy but they way they made it was perfection without the extras. Didn't try the Chocolate Cake Shake which was highly reviewed, but did have a piece of Chocolate cake to go, The cake was very rich and chocolate so I can see how a Chocolate Cake Shake would be the BOMB!!!! Wife is an expert on good Tamales and They didn't disappoint on those either. Very large tamale stuffed with goodness. Onion Rings were spot on and you can tell they are of the homemade variety. Portillo's is now one of my must haves when visiting The Windy City. Very Reasonable Price--Clean--Friendly--Fast Service, & AWESOME FOOD!!!!!!!

We had a wedding rehearsal dinner here. They have a back room that we had to ourselves for most of the time. The wait staff was a bit slow but eh food made up for it. The lasagna was out of this world and a huge portion.
When we stopped for gas at the oasis, we went inside the oasis itself. Subway is one of several restaurants that is located inside. The staff was friendly. We ordered a classic tuna to share and everything about it was fresh and what was supposed to be crispy was. The prices are just a bit higher than regular Subways, probably since it is in a government operated oasis. There is plenty of seating on the concourse and if you're with your kids or grandkids, not only can they watch traffic move along beneath you, but there is also a play area for them to play and burn off some energy.

Grady's Grille offers a comfortable mix between modern classic with the comforts of a neighborhood eatery. Chef Olegario Soto prepares everything from hearty burgers to flatbreads to homemade desserts that melt your heart, Grady's Grille can make even the
Wait staff are knowledgeable of menu items. I've eaten in and have called in take-out orders, both experiences I have nothing to complain about. Can't wait for warmer weather to be able to sit outside on patio. Love this place.
The Good: This was just a short walk from our hotel on a recent stop.(Actually, about the only place in walking distance). So we gave it a shot - the sign said Open 24 Hours. They sure try to please everyone - they have Philly cheese steaks, subs, tacos, polish sausage, burgers, gyros, fries and more. I had the Philly Cheese steak and my wife tried the Chicken Philly Cheese Steak - both big sandwiches on toasted hoagie rolls, tender, juicy meat, and fries. Serve yourself soft drinks, and the staff was very friendly. Our food came out very quick (we were the only ones in there at the time)The Bad: The blinds and windows could use a good scrubbing. The UGLY: We sat in a side booth by a window, and after we started eating we noticed a swarm of small ants along the window sill, and onto the table. They really need an exterminator there.
This my go to sub shop. The subs are delicious hot or cold. Staff is friendly & quick. The Super Club is my favorite. No matter what you pick they're all delicious.
