Munch is a vegetarian restaurant mostly vegan with extensive gluten free varieties. We consider our meals vegan comfort food. Our menu ranges from protein packed meal salads to delicious homemade soups to satisfying stew bowls and weekly gourmet specials.
My wife complains that I only take her to pubs, grills and similar joints, so I found this vegetarian restaurant. We placed our order and waited an excessive amount of time for our food. Eventually, she was pretty happy with Wild Mushrooms and Greens over hearty polenta (which looked like a yellow brick) and a side of Sautéed Greens. I tried the Amazing Black Bean Burger on a toasted oatmeal roll and prayed. On the side, I requested Roasted Herb Potatoes and a Dreamsicle shake as a treat. I have to tell you, an Amazing Black Bean Burger doesn't come anywhere close to the taste or texture of a traditional meat one. Individual and clusters of beans kept breaking off as I ate. I took solace in the lettuce, onion and tomato slices, ignored the garlic spread, and loved the oatmeal roll. The potatoes were great, and the Dreamsicle shake was outstanding. My calorie app told me I'd consumed way too many calories compared to the disappointing taste of the food I'd ingested. If my wife had written this, she'd have given higher marks for the food. Next time, I'm picking a BBQ joint.

After four years of planning and construction, Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant opened in 2005 in Orland Park, a south suburb of Chicago. The concept was unique. We would create a signature menu with a selection of dishes designed to pair perfectly with
We went with another couple and did wine tasting first. The gentleman doing the tasting was so friendly and nice. Our dinner was excellent. Three of us had Chicken Madeira. It was wonderful! My husband had a vegetarian dish, he enjoyed very much. The pretzel breadand our appetizer -egg and avocado on toast points were wonderful.

Our son goes here all the time to watch football games, so when we were in the area, this was suggested for a late lunch. We were greeted and seated immediately upon our arrival. The server was very attentive during our entire visit. The main bar area definitely has ALOT of tv's, so I imagine it's very crowded whenever various games are on. We were seated in the back dining area, where it was definitely much quieter. There were 5 in our group, and we all had a different menu item. Everything was good. All the men were part of the clean plate club - the women took some of ours home, as we couldn't finish it all.

Stopped in at 1:00 on a Sunday and were seated immediately. The decor is warm and inviting. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast. Servers were friendly and attentive. We were not rushed...actually food arrived a bit longer wait than most places but the Eggs Benedict was delicious. Free parking just steps away in the public parking lot.

We sat outskirts de because the weather was perfect. Our waiter came over right away with water and introduced himself. The atmosphere is very casual and the sidewalk area was very clean. We ordered quesadillas and a burger. Both were very good. I definitely would go here again
