There are not a lot of good fast food places close by, so this Culver's has tasty food with enough choices for everyone. The fries are delicious and if you're in the mood for ice cream, their cement mixers are delightful!

This is one of those places frequented by folks of all ages and tastes. This is a good and bad thing as any place which meets all needs rarely meets everyone's desires. That said, the place was clean. Lindsay, our server, was enthusiastic and attentive. The menu was value-based although completely without imagination. The pasta with vodka sauce was bland and tasteless. The fried chicken was good. This is the place to go when it's late, you have friends with picky or varying tastes. Nothing is great but there's something for everyone.

This establishment is a treat just to sit and relax in a very "country" style atmosphere. Great food, specializing in fried chicken but the fish and steak are very good as well. The side dishes of beets, coleslaw, hush puppies and cottage cheese are a treat in themselves but the chicken is fantastic. Great service from a staff of professionals. Can't find anything wrong after many visits over quite a few years.

For more than 50 years, I have visited Merichka's, a mainstay in the Joliet area. First recommended by my late father's new boss, Merichka's still delivers on the delicious memories of family meals and prom dates. The steak poorboy with garlic butterine and swiss plus the double baked potato is a must (and enough for lunch tomorrow!). Yet, they keep updating the menu. Enjoyed the chili. Thank you and cannot wait for my next visit!

We have dined for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Anthonyâs several times and have always been satisfied. Anthonyâs is a typical Family style place with full menu, I especially like the open face dinners with gravy over meat, mashed potatoes and bread ! Serious good ole comfort food ! Service and cleanliness good, while in Lockport IL an inexpensive but worthy choice!

While our waitress kept forgetting to bring us water, straws, etc,( we had to remind her multiple times), the food was just food. We ordered a fish sandwich & we were served a fish dinner at twice the price. Itâs kind of hard to give a really good review based on our experience.

Just wanted to give a special thanks to Teresa, the event manager at Embers Tap House!!! We hosted our parents 50th anniversary party over the weekend and everything ran super smoothly. She was very helpful and courteous for any and all questions. We hosted roughly 70 people in the main banquet room upstairs and still had enough room to fit many more. The food was really tasty and stayed piping hot throughout the event, which consisted of Grilled Chicken, Baked Potatoes, Vegetables, and Salad. Our entire family was rather impressed with the ambiance and the tasty food. It is a great venue for a family party and prices are very affordable. It was a very pleasant experience!! Many Thanks!!!!

The Healthy Sins Inc. Vegan Cafe is a raw, organic, gluten-free, and vegan restaurant offering appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The cafe has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and is located in the heart of downtown Lockport. All of our food is raw, organic
Nice hidden place! Hard to park but the service was really welcoming once you walk through the door. The waitress and cheff explained their concept right a way "Everything is Raw, Organic,Vegan, Gluten Free" they asked if we have any food allergies. I was the only one on my party that order an appetizer which it was a very flavored cup of Jalapeño Corn Chowder then as my second meal I had the Loaded Burger meal with salad and chocolate brownie bite.I think the portion can be a little bit bigger since the flavor are amazing and if you are like me you definitely want more. We even ordered the Amazing Almond Butter Pie and Chocolate Brownie to share with our friends for Thanksgiving. We will be back. Love it!

Serving steak, fresh seafood, homemade Italian dishes and comfort foods in an elegant historic setting. Housed in the Gaylord building in downtown Lockport. We have a gorgeous outdoor patio overlooking the park that allows well behaved dogs to dine with t
We visited the Public Landing for the second time in February 2019. The restaurant offers charming atmosphere, as it's housed in an old 19th Century limestone building in downtown Lockport. The dining room is rustic, with stone and wood everywhereâ¦very cozy (see website photo)! On our first dinner visit, I liked it a lot, certainly enough to return. The second visit blew me away. To start, drinks are generous and fairly priced. The wine list, while not expansive, has some good options at reasonable prices, and many are available by the glass or bottle. As for the menu, it offers ample variety: salads, sandwiches, steaks, seafood, poultry, pork, even a little pasta. Entrees don't come with soup or salad, but those are reasonably priced at $4-5. I had a Caesar salad that was about as good as any. Our party of four focused on beef. The Mrs. and I both ordered the prime rib (which is only available on weekends). She had an end cut, while I asked for medium. Both were perfectly cooked and served with horseradish sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, and asparagus. It was easily the best prime rib I've enjoyed in a long time. (Yum!) As for our dining partners, he chose the rib eye. She selected the grilled salmon. Both were thoroughly satisfied. Our server was attentive and willing to accommodate the pace of our meal, even on a busy Saturday evening (we were in no hurry). If you dine on the weekend, a reservation is suggested.Really looking forward to a return visitâ¦highly recommended!

The extensive menu has options for anyone, even gluten free selections. Savory items include the usual omelettes and skillets, but they have an extensive variety of options which aren't standard (like smoked gouda cheese). Sweet items are also covered - pancakes, waffles, blintzes, and French Toast with fruit toppings as well as yummy alternatives like Oreos, Creme Brulee, strawberry cheesecake, and Nutella. Service was attentive and portions are generous. We will definitely return!
