R J's eatery is a friendly local restaurant that serves good food at a moderate price and has been in business all my adult life and I'm 66 years old. As I'm fond of saying it was around when Christ was an slter boy... :)Highly recommended

Family Friendly Breakfast and Lunch Restaurant.
Great place for breakfast and soups. Usually packed on Saturday and Sunday mornings and for a reason. This place is bustling with locals on the weekends, which means it is a gem. Food is consistent, hot, quick and amazing.

Antioch pizza never disappoints you when it comes to their menu. Everything is delicious! When they say your pizza is going to be ready in 20 minutes, it usually is. Staff are all pleasant and friendly and you feel welcomed the minute you step in the door. Their pizza is by far, my favorite!!

This was my first time to this restaurant. The restaurant has a seperate ban and dining area. The dining area is decorated with a tiny light ceiling and Old movie posters on the wall. The walls have some old photograph on them. The bathroom were immaculately clean and nicely decorated. I was hungry for Prime Rib on a late Saturday Afternoon. Their Prime Rib is not available for order until AFTER 5 PM. Dinner come was a small loaf of warm bread. My bread got cold as it was brought to my table right after I was seated. I was looking over the (large) menu and my bread loaf got cold. They have a VERY LARGE MENU WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF ITEMS. They have Appetizers, Salads, Artisan Pizza, Tacos, Sandwiches & Wraps, Rotisserie Chicken (and Rotisserie Chicken Creation Dishes), Burgers, Meatloaf, Steaks, Ribs, Pasta, Seafood, and Desserts(on the expensive side but, said to serve up to four people). The Dessert options are: "Huge Chocolate Fudge Cake" OR "Huge Carrot Cake" for $10.00. I ordered an appetizer and soup to pass some time. The Soupe du jour was Beef Barley. I did not like for the soup. I believe it had cumin in it and the broth was pale tan thick and paste like consistency. The flavor was more of spice than umamie or beefyness. My Sweet Potato fries were good. The Prime Rib WAS WORTH the wait. My Prime arrived at 5:15 PM (little off the first serving time of 5 PM). I had ordered the doneness to be Medium and it arrived pink in the center and juicy as I had ordered it. Jayson the Manager INSPECTED EVERY DISH THAT WAS COMING OUT OF THE KITCHEN. I was thoroughly impressed at seeing Jayson inspect and sign off on each dish put up on the pass that was completed by the Chef. Jayson was at my table several times to ensure my dining experience was perfect. I WILL DEFINATELY BE BACK here to try many more of the menus enormous offerings. I can't wait to try their Rotisserie Chicken and Rotisserie Chicken Creations. I WILL BE returning with friends in tow to experience this restaurants offerings again soon.

Whether you crave a juicy burger, a zesty pasta dish, or our famous moist and flavor-packed rotisserie chicken, Lake House offers a delicious menu the whole family will love! Choose to dine inside surrounded by cozy warm wood and stone accents, or sit out
With tempered expectations, I turned the car northward and paid a first visit to Lake House, KRG's alternate location to the Lake Bluff original. The bar was open and welcoming on a Tuesday evening at dinnertime; their local selection of microbrews diverse.Famous for rotisserie chicken, (the daily special, in fact) I found the $14 price still way too high for a half-bird platter. Ordered a spicy pasta, which featured larger tail-less shrimp than are usually found in such dishes for a couple dollars more. While the serving was a bit small, the sauce was brutally spicy. Ate the shrimp, took out the pasta. Salad was ok; bread was warm and fresh. While nothing was particularly WRONG about the meal, neither was anything particularly RIGHT. Sadly, in this era of diminished expectations, these folks are just "phoning it in".....While the hostess had waved me in upon arrival, she didn't even glance up from her cell phone as I departed.....uh boy......

This isn't a high traffic location to have a restaurant. So, their longevity will be based primarily on driving people in through exceptional service and food. Sadly, they've fallen short on both fronts. It was our first visit and not memorable enough for us to return. The food wasn't poor, but the service was below average and the wait to receive our food was disappointing. This was very similar to the previous establishment. It shouldn't take 25-minutes to get an appetizer and 40-minutes to get your main course at 2PM on a Tuesday afternoon. Drinks sat empty for ten minutes or longer at a time. We were never welcomed when we entered... reception never wished us a Happy New Year, or asked if this was our first visit.. or even said hello! A manager never came to our table to say hello or ask how our experience was. They did the absolute minimum. Listen, "worse things can happen in life" then eating at this latest version of Timothy O'Toole's... but that's not a great endorsement. This place needs some serious tightening up.Thank you, Chicago Tommyboy, for taking the time to send us your very helpful feedback. It is important to have this information as we continue to grow, adapt, listen and recommit every day to providing the best dining experiences to valued guests like you. Thank you for letting us know, also, where we failed to impress you. We will be better because of helpful feedback like yours, Chicago Tommyboy. We would sincerely appreciate the privilege of serving you again. Thank you!

Love this place - great service and great food. This is one of the places in the suburbs where you will find a great Chicago Hot Dog. However; all their food is good.

Full service restaurant and lounge
Our group of eight received excellent service, and everyone enjoyed his or her food. That some dishes were infused with chocolate was a happy novelty surprise enjoyed by everyone. The cocoa-nibs-crusted Great Lakes Whitefish was a hit with most of us, but the beef eaters among us also enjoyed their meals. A custom-ordered, gluten-free four-layer dark chocolate torte dessert was spectacular!
