After my daughter and I did some shopping nearby, we stopped for lunch. We needed extra time before ordering because so many things sounded appealing. She opted for the Diablo Salad and I had the Fruity Chicken sandwich with a cup of the Roasted Red Pepper Gouda soup. The presentation of the food was as wonderful as the flavor. My daughter raved about her salad, and I enjoyed the textures in the chicken salad as well as the large chunks of moist chicken. But the soup.....oh, that was amazing. It was so good that we took two cups of it home to have for dinner that night. I am from Chicago and don't get out that way often, but I definitely want to return to try something else and to get more of that soup.

This restaurant is a gem amongst other resturants. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. The servers are great. Anyone who doesnt think so is not observant or considerate. The food---ah, it's a real bargain and they cook it with expertise in the kitchen. Its my restaurant!

Friendly, family atmosphere and great service. You can get anything here- from breakfast in the evening, to liver and onions or gyros, hamburgers, catfish, salads, soups, or just chicken fingers. Kids menu as well. Endless coffee cup and desserts. Even a back room for groups. Recommend you try this place for sure.

Was coming to Quad Cities to meet a couple for lunch. They are local there so they suggested this place that they love and we were game. The outside doesn't look anything like the inside. Very nicely decorated. Friendly staff!!We were seated right away, started off with some crazy good nachos that came in a cylinder, lifted the cylinder and "wow".Love the menu (both food and drink) and all the food was hot, all the food tested fresh and I cannot wait to go back again.A new fav!!

We were staying at the Super 8 next door and had to try this place for lunch. We both loved the homemade soup. The homemade chicken strips were delicious. The service was very good. Might return here again when in the ares.

where to start? Arrived a few minutes early for our reservation, were seated just inside the door, it seemed. Service arrived later -- much later. Calamari appetizer was good, property cooked to my way of thinking. Then things went south. After some time, the server arrived; we ordered wine. it was presented later. We ordered dinner; salads arrived, mine had the wrong dressing. Server disappeared. Finally asked someone on the floor to find her. She returned. I pointed out that I asked for blue cheese dressing, not the house. Ok. She said, leaving the salad at the table. Steaks arrived next. My companion said, no, I don't want the entree with my salad in front of me. My "other" salad arrived. Server asked if we wanted our steaks returned to the kitchen. Yes, thank you. At some time after we finished our salads (punishment perhaps?) our steaks returned, I've never seen a skinnier ribeye -- or had one so salty and overcooked. AT this point, our goal was to eat and leave. After paying the tab, my companion asked a nearby person to talk with us. "Are you the manager?" he inquired. "For today, yes" she replied. My companion related our adventure She said she could not adjust the tab since it had been run, but offered us her sympathy and a glass of wine. we accepted both. Suffice to say I've been here before and I loved the food and service. But I guess all good things must end. I will be back in Moline, but not at Johnny's.Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I am disappointed to hear about your recent experience. I noticed you have dined with us before and this is not typical but did happen and I do sincerely apologize. I have shared your review with management and the culinary team to use as training/learning opportunities. We joined family for lunch before heading back to Tennessee. It was our first visit so we were not sure what to expect. The pizza was fresh and tasted great! There were many pizza options to choose from on the buffet. The price was reasonable and the staff was friendly. We definitely will return if we are back in the QC.

Never been disappointed and again had a great night here. The service was exceptional (Aviana). She was a real pro. I had the potato soup and Baja Chopped Salad. Consistent. Always very good. And this was on July 4th - we were expecting maybe a drop in quality because the best help probably would have the day off but not the case - excellent. My wife and friend has the truffle burger and loved it. They both said besides being good, it was "manageable." We will definitely return.

Stopped here for breakfast based on Tripadvisor reviews. This is a small place, not many tables at all but they do turn them over quickly. Biscuits and gravy was very good.My wife had an omelet and she said it was ok, nothing special..Bacon was burnt to a crisp, which some people like but I do not.Service was fast and friendly.We would probably eat here again as long as the wait was not very long, I would not wait 20 minutes to dine here, it just was not that great to warrant that long of a wait.

I have been coming to Frank's all of my life and think it is one of the best pizza's in town . They also have very good fried chicken and stromboli sandwich's. The dinning rooms are not all that nice, looks like an old school lunch room but it has been like that as long as I can remember, 40 years plus. The pizza's are reasonably priced but the chicken is pricey. I do not get the sandwich much but they are tasty but I don't know the price off hand. I give it 5 stars but like I said I was brought up on it.
