Had 2x large fish and chips 1x small battered sausage chips and curry sauce.All plaits were cleared, the best chippy Iâve ever had and would recommend to anyone.We were looking for the best chippy and I was not disappointed.I will deffo return when I come here again.Service good as well.Thank you

Visited yesterday for my birthday meal .ordered two steaks both very tough asked for medium came back very bloody.mine was ok but no seasoning on steaks Diane sauce no taste. We were asked by the waitress if we was happy with the meal told her no she did tbf offer to send it back to the kitchen but we declined. We have visited this restaurant many times and never had a problem before. We was giving our bill and paid the full price not that we asked for a reduced payment but it might nice to have been asked as my partner's steak was inedible won't be visiting again.

This place is just what we need in a country riddled with pretentious overpriced sub quality restaurants. Letâs get back to basics and let the fresh products do the talking. Lovely crab salad served with a simple salad and fresh tasting wine. Great staff especially the young lad who served us.Next time we will go for the very reasonably priced lobster.

Had fish and chips here on our last night, really really tasty. Our fish came without skin which I prefer, and chips good. Lovely batter on fish too. Staff very friendly and organised and professional, compared to in another sea front chippy where poor service and chips not so good.

Our meal here was simply incredible. The seafood was so fresh and delicious, and the service was good too. We had sole goujons, lemon sole catch of the day and delicious puddings afterwards. Definitely need to book if you want to go here at any time but would certainly recommend it!

Started off with a speciality gin and tonic, chosen from several on the menu, which was so competitively priced for a restaurant. All of the food, and we had three course each, was beautifully prepared and the service was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Other reviews are glowing and rightly so.The fish dishes are well executed and presented.The wine list is short and fairly priced.Only suggestion would be for the restaurant to amend the menu if slight changes are made to any of the dishes.

Portion sizes are plentiful, great value for kids with Value Box (small fish, small sausage, small chips for £4.50). Only gripe was the chips were a little on the greasy side but the cod was large with lovely chunky flakes.I was impressed that theyâve ditched the plastic carrier bags for large, sturdy paper bags. Big thumbs up.
