Ikeja is the state capital of Lagos State. Prior to the emergence of military rule in the early 1980s, Ikeja was a well planned, clean and quiet residential and commercial town with shopping malls, pharmacies and government reservation areas. The Murtala Mohammed International Airport is located in Ikeja. Ikeja is also home to the Femi Kuti's Africa Shrine and Lagbaja's Motherlan'; both venues for live music. It now boasts a shopping mall, Ikeja City Mall, which is the largest mall in the Mainland of Lagos State and also has a cinema.

For being outside China--indeed, outside an area with many Chinese expats--Zen Garden has great fidelity even though, as far as I could tell, no one actually spoke Chinese. The dining room is large (a group of ten of us were easily accommodated at a round table, and several other tables of that size were nearby. The lazy susan gently went round-and-round as the mambers of our party sampled a wide variety of delicious dishes. The serving staff stood at a discreet distance but was ready to meet our needs at all times.

Place underwent some months ago, yet decor is average and can be noisy insider
Location is accessible to Ikeja environs.
Very limited parking
The order system needs a bit of refinement
Limited menu and quite pricey for the range and portions are medium.
It used to be the cynosure for local delicacies, not any longer.

Welcome to CUT Steakhouse, located on the ground floor @ Renaissance Lagos Ikeja Hotel. You are a meat lover? This is the place to be in Lagos! We are known for the 3 B's Service with Smooth BRIOCHE Bread, Succulent BEEF & Stunning Bordeaux Wines.
It is hard for someone to mess up a cheeseburger. These folks did it. Believe it or not. The loaf of the cheeseburger would not stay together like a good burger should. It just fell apart and I could see the breading and every other short cut they took to make this atrocity of a meal. How do you screw up chips? You overfry them and then cook them some more. My friends had wings that were so hot they could not eat them. And to top it off, the local favorite we were hoping for arrived, yes, COLD. Yep -- it was the same temperature as this review.

You want to enjoy a nice breakfast, lunch or dinner and do not want to choose only one dish. We welcome you at our Iyeru Okin Restaurant & Pool Deck on the first floor @ Renaissance Lagos Ikeja Hotel. You can use a superb meal in buffet style with our Chef's on the spot in our open kitchen with a Live Action Station.
Food selection: OK. Food display, OK. Service interaction? Awful. Just awful. I was seated and no one came to the table for drinks or anything. I had to stop a waiter and ask him to get me my drinks. I even had to stop another waiter and ask for my check. Simply abysmal service. Also, the cheese selection looked like it was unwrapped right off the supermarket shelf and the desserts were a tragedy in action. The beef was overcooked, the fish was overspiced, the chicken was overcooked and for this type of marginal experience, everything was overpriced.
