Locally owned restaurant. All bread and pizza dough is made in house daily. Brick fired pizza. Sandwiches, fresh salads, pastas, soups- all made in house. Draft beer and wine. Happy hour 3 to 6 daily.
Came to town for WSU Dad's Weekend. We wanted pizza and went over to Blaze but were disappointed with the beer selection so we found Caruso's up the street on TripAdvisor. What a great decision. First the food. Very cool selections. We had the Motherlode. Super good. Great for 2 hungry people. Handmade, wood fired and so good. We also had a the garden salad which is easily shared with 2-3 people. The beer selection is not huge but really good. Had a Big Juicy from No-Li. Always good with pizza. Second the atmosphere. Big, open and cool design/layout. Very inviting. They have booths if you want an intimate experience and big tables and high tops for a crowd or small group. Much better setting than the one in CDA, which we went to for vacation. My call....best pizza in Spokane. Please open one in Vancouver, WA!

Read the reviews, so had to try it out. We were not disappointed. I got the Thai pizza and adored it! Nice and subtly spicy and the pizza crust was great. Quick and efficient service and good vibes. Would return.

We took our son and his family out to eat. When he mentioned Tomato Street they boys eye lit up and they mentioned their favorite meal. The girls looked to their Mom and she reminded them what they could order there. I knew we were knocking it out of the ball field...it was one of their favorites. We will do it again.Thank you for taking the time to write. Sounds like your grandchildren will be future patrons. I'm happy that my employees efforts with food quality and service are being appreciated.

We are a family owned Italian restaurant serving pastas, pizzas, and sandwiches.
Our family really enjoyed the Family size Alfredo and calamari. To add shrimp would have been nice, but not at $14. Thwy also serve my favorite One Tree Cider, which was a treat. Our server was exceptional. We also noticed that they have paint and wine classes, so that may be something we may consider for a date night.

Celebrating an anniversary while vacationing in CdA, we enjoyed patio dining with 4 adults and 2 small children, ages 4 and 6. Service and dinner were excellent. My grilled salmon was a generous portion and cooked to perfection. Chicken piccata ordered by my husband was also reported as above average. Crayons and paper were given to the grandkids. The location was easy to find, and the gardens surrounding the patio added an unexpected 'European' atmosphere.

My niece suggested Flame & Cork for me to take my son, nephew and girlfriend for dinner after a day of skiing at Schweitzer Resort. Great choice! The menu is small (one page) with starters, salads, pizza and dessert. Everything, however, was delicious. Because we ordered 2 meat-heavy pizzas we didn't order the charcuterie plate recommended by my niece, opting for salads instead. My Caesar was crisp and lightly dressed the way I prefer while my son's mixed greens with a balsamic was also excellent. Our pizzas were square, thin crust and were perfect for the 4 of us. They offer a nice variety of Italian meats and a house-made fennel sausage along with other toppings (arugula, basil, pesto) and sauces (white, marinara) for such a short menu.Local wines dominated the short wine list along with 4 draught beers, also all local. Perfect place to end a great day skiing with excellent Italian-style pizza, tasty beer, and a casual ambiance.
