This is a very nice place for ice cream and flavored coffee. Central located on main street and convenient to rafting, jet boat tours. Great ice cream and a good price with awesome size portions.

I would avoid this place at all costs, clannish little town, owner must be a cocaine addict. I introduced myself with a business card after buying drinks and dancing for hours, tipping well and he 86d me for being a salesmanWe donât allow dancing in our cafe...lol. This strange man moved to our town but didnât last long. He was kicked out of almost every establishment in Riggins because of the creepy way he treated bartenders and our female patrons. And as far as the cocaine comment...I think people that do cocaine are skinny and neither of us are that. But nice try Israel. Trip advisor would not delete this review.
We reluctantly stopped in here (it wasnât listed on Trip Advisor or Yelp). Very friendly staff, kids were welcome, and there was no hesitation to have us sample their craft drinks. The menu was limited, but each of us (2 adults, 3 teens) found something to like. And R&R did it well!! Great sandwiches and wraps. After talking to the staff, found out there was a location in Moscow. I mentioned some music would be nice and they need to tone down the fluorescent lights to give it a little more warmth. Would definitely recommend this place.

Well itâs that time again, the back eddy Grill is closed for the season we thank everybody that supported us and we hope to see you again at the end of March 2020. God bless
After just completing a wonderful 5-day rafting adventure, we needed a quick lunch for the trip home. Didn't look like much from the outside, but had a good reputation so we gave it a shot. WOW! Elk tacos and superb hamburgers were on our list and did not disappoint. Huckleberry shake to top it off and head on down the road with a full belly and happy mouths. Oh and the onion rings were also excellent and not mushy or overly breaded. This place makes my list of return visits next time through Riggins!

We served a variety of cuisine, focusing on traditional American with an Italian flair! We have the most extensive menu in a 150 mile radius serving breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week, year round, including but not limited to breakfast items such a
Biggest biscuits, bits of ham in the gravy, eggs just like I ordered, evenly cooked bacon were just like Grandma's. Because of breakfast, we came back for supper. The blackberry cobbler with 3 scoops of ice cream, whipped cream, and drizzled with blackberry sauce made me forget what else I ate for supper.Awe, thank you for your kind review! We are happy that you enjoyed your experience with us. Our biscuits and sausage gravy are homemade, as are many things on our extensive menu.Thank you for your patronage. We appreciate it and look forward to your return ~

Typical bar food, Probably the busiest in town. Dark and old. For me the food was just ok. Moderate priced.

Kateâs Cattlemanâs is a not to be missed gem hidden in the heart of Central Idaho. Kate, a true character and so very reflective of the rugged Riggins lifestyle, was a top fly fishing guide for many years until she hung up her rod and found God in her kitchen. Whether you are vegetarian, gluten free or carnivore Kateâs cooking will be sure to please. Kate does not advertise the fact that almost all of her products, including meats, are organic and/or home grown (if you are lucky to dine here when her tomatoes are ripe you are in for a treat!). Plus she makes all her own breads â donât miss her homemade sourdough English muffins. I just went gluten free and am having English muffin withdrawals. They are the best ever! Not to be missed are her chicken fried steak n gravy, substantial breakfasts, homemade breads, soups and salads, and the best burger in town. Plus homemade ice cream if you have room. Her unlimited coffee is still only 50 cents and comes with a huge smile and a hearty dose of fishing/personal advice/Riggins lore and/or a helping hand if needed. Her hours say open at 6AM but her door unlocks at 5AM if you are heading out early to fish or hunt. She makes a super box lunch or breakfast sandwich to go. And will customize any order. I promise you wonât be disappointed if your path brings you to Kateâs door!
