Find out what American restaurants to try in Lewiston. A city steeped in history, Lewiston traces its beginnings to the Lewis and Clark Expedition. In 1805, the famed explorer team came to the confluence of the Clearwater and Snake rivers, now the site of twin cities Lewiston, Idaho, and Clarkston, Washington. Pick any weekend of the year for your stay: Lewiston has a uniquely dry, temperate climate, ideal for year-round recreational activities. Whitewater rafting, kayaking, swimming, fishing, tubing, canoeing and jet boating opportunities are plentiful - and that's only the water sports. Landlubbers can golf, camp, hike, jog and bicycle. For the truly adventurous, a trip to Hells Canyon, the deepest canyon in North America, is a must. Those who venture into the gorge, via raft or jet boat, will discover 2,500-year-old Native American carvings on the canyon walls. Try your hand at indoor risk with a visit to the Clearwater River Casino. Whether braving the rapids or browsing through pioneer artifacts in the city's museums, you're sure to get a taste of the indomitable spirit of the early American settlers.

This is the second time we visited Hazel Good Eats. First time, the wait time was a bit annoying because it was approx. 20 min. The meal was well worth the wait. Good enough to bring us back again and we were definitely happy this second go round!

We had lunch delivered to work and everything tasted great. I had the Chicken Thai Wrap and it was great. We have had other sandwiches there in the past and it has always been good. I will have to go to restaurant next time I'm in town.

We pride our business in serving only the freshest, highest quality, hand made meals. Everything item is unique, and made to order. From the Hand Pattied Burger, Hand Cut fry, Hand Dipped Chicken Tenders and Shrimp, there is ALWAYS something here to love
I love everything I've tried here in the past three years, even if they do dust their bite-size in cornmeal. But their hard-cider and deep-fried PBJ are to die for!

So far, this is the best lunch place in Lewiston for us. Good, fresh food served with flair, decent variety, pleasant atmosphere, comfortable with great service. I had the blackberry pecan salad, fried cod and broccoli slaw. Hubby had the salad with delicious french onion soup, and a mediterranean chicken sandwich he loved! Said the chicken was tender and a good, tender bun. Making our second visit today!

Effie's is a Lewiston icon for burgers and has been there for decades. Has to be on the list.
Luckily we heard about these burgers so we shared...and we both left full. The price is perfect, especially when you share. Don't expect a great atmosphere, but the service is very good and you'll have a good burger (and for us, with tots!). A perfect lunch!

Zany's is a hometown favorite restaurant for young and old alike. Our eclectic decor features old Hollywood, goofy characters, an old train circling the dining room and inspiration from Asia, all of which is a reflection of the variety that our menu offer
My wife and I came here for a family member's birthday dinner. We ordered sushi, it showed up after everyone else's food which is fine, we have been craving good sushi. The sushi was decent, we ordered three more rolls and one roll came out that was not what we ordered. Waitress took it back and said all 3 rolls will be out in a couple minutes. We waited, and waited some more then she came out and said they just got a bunch more people ordering sushi, and that ours had gotten pushed back and wanted to know if we wanted it to go because the rest of our party had finished. Or would we like to cancel. At that point we just canceled severely disappointed. If an order is made wrong that order should be TOP PRIORITY to get to the customer, not pushed to the back of the line!!!We will not be back!

Enjoy great food and hometown friendly service at Lewiston's favorite American restaurant, Main Street Grill. We've got all your favorites, from award winning hamburgers and fries to Irish nachos, and everything in between. Main Street Grill, simply the .
Can't say enough good about The Main Street Grill. Great ambiance, better service and food. Navy bean soup and bison burger as good if not better than any I've had. Lance, our waiter, was the best. Very friendly and accommodating. Stopped by often to check on us. Other staff were nice and friendly also.

We are a small breakfast, lunch & BBQ restaurant serving made from scratch hotcakes, fresh baked goods, homemade soups, salads and 3 BBQ sauces. We started out as a deli, one year later we added BBQ, 3 years later we added breakfast. As we say, other BBQ
I ordered "burnt ends" and some potato salad. I got a few pieces of unfavorable fat. I have had BBQ in Texas and this place wouldn't know a burn end if it slapped them in the face. It was served in a tiny paper box and I had to cut half off because of the fat. Also, I had to keep adding their bland homemade BBQ sauce to get any flavor at all. The place is not cheap. Had a soft drink and was not offered a refill (not indicated on menu). I will not be going back.

Mystic Cafe is a locally owned cafe, bistro, wine bar, and full service dinner establishment. We pride ourselves in providing fresh, localized ingredients and working with local and regional vendors. We provide an atmosphere that makes you want to come in
Mystic Cafe has a coffee/pastry side and the full cafe/restaurant on the other side. The decor is very cute/rustic and welcoming, and we had great service. My husband and I were there for dinner and we both felt our entrees were excellent. I had the grilled shrimp, served with rice pilaf and haricot verts; all was excellent. It's $19 and that includes a delicious wedge Caesar or spring mix salad with bleu cheese, candied walnuts, etc. My husband really enjoyed his pork chop with mashed potatoes and the green beans. All was delicious. Bottled beer was only $3. The only disappointment was the bread fresh from the oven; it was pretty tasteless and not worthy of the rest of the meal. We will return!

This is hands down my favorite place to eat breakfast in town!! The food is amazing and the staff is like family! It can be very noisy at times, but it still can't be beat!
