Established in 1999. With three locations in Boise, Eagle and Coeur d'Alene that capture the spirit of Idaho and the Northwest, Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery is a cornerstone of Idaho's restaurant and bar industry. The original establishment is locat
They have a large open floor with a well-stocked, long bar. The list of drinks and beers may not be huge, but the selection is decent. The food is ok, although I'd say the presentation is better than the flavor. Excellent service, very friendly bartenders and waiters. They have a break-out room for private dinners/parties.Thanks for the detailed review. We welcome feedback like this as we are always looking for ways to improve! We hope to see you again soon.

Fork offers higher end cuisine at a reasonable price. This is our second visit while visiting Boise and both experiences have been good. You won't find an extensive menu but you typically will find something in all categories you'll like whether it's meat, fish, chicken or pasta. Make sure you save room for the butter cake. While we heard it often sells out, it was the vanilla ice cream they ran out of surprisingly, which was substituted by some berry ice cream. It was delicious and shared by three. Depending on your appetite choose your entree carefully. The chicken dish was a lot of food, however, the pesto ravioli portion was slightly skimpy and a large eater would not be impressed. The fried asparagus is a good appetizer as are the basic garden salads. Service is fine although not overly attentive. Full bar and wine list as would be expected. Also a bar area that offers a full menu if alone on business or you don't want to wait for a table.

We were first introduced to OPH on a vacation visiting family in Boise. Since we have retired here we frequent OPH for breakfast at least once a week. Both my husband and I are Seniors and the Senior menu does not disappoint and is easy on the budget. But I have to admit my absolute favorite is a Strawberry Waffle with their fresh made whip cream...YUM!! They also make their own syrups, strawberry is my favorite and tropical is my husbands.

Went here today trying out based on the good reviews here and I'm sad I hadn't gone before! Clean restaurant with a nice ambiance, delicious food that tasted very fresh (great meat, great sauces, great fries, and great veggies), and the service was impeccable. They were also very nice to my daughter and having a toddler, despite her being genuinely well-behaved, can sometimes get us poor service by default. A great experience and I look forward to coming back.

Super fun and energetic place with great outdoor seating. The burger is awesome, make sure to add the Danish Pearl cheese! Only complaint is the fries - half of them were awesome and crispy but the other half were a bit soggy. Service is great and location canât be beat. Will definitely be back!

Breakfast and coffee here were good, though portions are just bonkers. Even by US standards, they are obscene; a guy next to us failed to get through enough biscuits and gravy for 4 people. The cafe is very busy with a line reaching out into the street the Saturday morning we went. Staff were really friendly.

My wonderful friends, a couple I love dearly, treated me as their guest to the Sunday prime rib special last month. Not only was the restaurant gorgeous, but the wait staff was impeccable. From the moment we entered, through the amuse-bouche till last cognac, it was divine! The prime rib was picture perfect, nice and red and juicy, like in your restaurant dreams. The sides were perfect, the wine spot on, and dessert was heavenly. Our waiter made it all perfect, advising us immediately that if we wanted the prime rib to order it NOW and heâd put three aside for us as they donât last at this special price, $39.95. He was right. We got there at 1730 and by 1815 they were OUT! It was a delightful meal, incredible service, and a memory to last a lifetime! Bravo, Chandlerâs!

I always order salmon and I went for the cedar plank salmon for $24. Steak came with "Yukon gold mashed potatoes" and "sauteed vegetables with charred lemon." The first bite of the mashed potatoes nearly knocked me off my seat - beautifully presented, creamy, with real bacon and butter, absolutely outstanding. Same with the mixed vegetables: perfectly sauteed and seasoned to perfection. The steak was perfectly cooked, large, tender, and perfect color. I did not see or taste the charred lemon and I didn't even care. One month ago I ordered a similar salmon dish in a resort town's seaside restaurant. For the same price (with a discount); it came with a soup or salad and some bread. While it was good, it didn't hold a candle to this meal. I savored every bite! Restaurant was neat, tidy, clean and had interesting decor and comfort details. Service was very good as well. I would love to go back!
