SAJ Farm Inn -Ibra , Is located in Ibra which is 160 km from Muscat International airport. The resort is built in a farm and occupying 26000 meter squire of the farm. The resort consist of 15 separate units (8 units as suite type with 2 bedrooms and hall and 7 in standard double bed rooms). The resort also include water slides park for children and adults , mini football ground, swimming pools one
The complex consists of approx. 15 bungalows with two bedrooms and two bathrooms each. They seem to be rather new. Nevertheless the quality of the materials used is rather poor. The location is a 15 minutes drive from Ibra. There is a pool and a children’s pool, we were not able to use since we arrived late. The staff is friendly. There are many mosquitos in the rooms. The restaurant is not very cosy but food is very cheap. It takes very long to get served. The Indian dishes taste well. The burger and wrap were not very convincing. Fresh juices were very good.

As far as I understand, there aren't a whole lot of accommodations available in Ibra. We stayed at the Ibra Motel on the way to Wadi Bani Kaleed. Our stay was only for 1 night and was ok, but there was nothing special about it. The rooms were basic with no frills. The beds were decently comfortable and the rooms were decently clean. The wifi hardly worked so we were essentially lacking in internet connection. The location is right in the middle of Ibra. There isn't much as far as tourist sights in Ibra itself so there's not much for tourists to be close to or far from. There are a couple supermarkets just up the road in either direction to pick up snacks for the car and theres a decent local restaurant right across the main road that we went to for dinner. It's an ok place to stay if you end up in Ibra for the night.

When I booked the accomodation I was completely unaware that Byruha Ibra actually happens to be a small children’s theme park about 8km south of the city that also offers accomodation. They are offering two kinds of rooms: Standard rooms in small huts and deluxe rooms in what looks like traditional arabic tents. I originally booked a standard room and have to say that I was quite disappointed with it, seeing as it was very basic and not particularly clean. However, the friendly hotel manager later gave me a free upgrade and I spent the night in one of the traditional tents which were far nicer and really spacious. Other than that the breakfast was pretty basic as well, but the staff was friendly and the WiFi was working as well. So if you can get a good deal for one of deluxe rooms I can recommend the hotel, but I wouldn't book a standard room here again.

The moment you step inside the desert, it just feels amazing. The serenity of beautiful dunes, vast field of red sands and stillness around you are simply captivating. Still referred to locally as Wahiba Sands, this is a great place to camp overnight with group of friends. We went with a few families, camp out, BBQ and talked all night (metaphorically speaking). The magnificence and majesty of the night sky and the peace of dawn in the dunes makes this stay, one of the desert camps you don’t want to miss!

The hote is located on the highway and ideal for a short stay to spend the night after a long ride. The restaurant is basic but good, the bar serves alcohol and is good. Try to stay in the backside rooms as the parking spot gets quite noisy as many local drunk people might discuss until 2 am in front of your window. The beds are hard, the sheets are thin, the shower is basic, the lights need replacement, thousands of mosquitos. Zero entertainment but ok for resting a bit.
