There are very nice people at the hotel, all where very friendly. The food was very good, everyday different food and it was good quallity. The rooms are really clean. We really enjoyed our stay!

Reviewed By A6649XEemmacJust returned from a week here with friends and family and although overall had a lovely holiday there were lots of points that let this hotel down. Service was hit and miss - we felt like most of the time we were looking to get the attention for someone to serve us whether this be by the poolside or in the restaurants. Often orders would be incorrect when they did arrive, one morning we asked 3 different staff members for our breakfast order to later discover it had not been put through at all - we eventually got our breakfast 45 minutes later. The food choice for evening meals is very limited for a 5* hotel and we very quickly got bored with what was on offer. The hotel is very focused on it’s image when more focus should be on consistent service. The hotel is in a a lovely location it’s very scenic with great sea views but there isn’t a great deal to do in the area. The rooftop pool is beautiful for a day visit. We wouldn’t personally stay for longer than a day or 2 again.

Reviewed By Storyteller315100The staff really make this hotel. We were a family group of 5. Our request to have 2 rooms together with a sea view were accommodated. We had one vegan guest and the staff never lost sight of this. The room sizes are excellent. The buffet was varied and fresh. The daily room service was faultless. It would be helpful to replenish the water within the mini fridges every day. Would defintiely return

The hotel is located at the centre of the Playa d’en Bossa, at the seafront in one of the most visited and popular areas of Ibiza. It is very close to the city centre, it is also close to fashionable clubs. The rooms are fully equipped with a full bathroom hair dryer, air conditioning, a plasma TV , free safe, telephone, mini-fridge, and balcony. The hotel has one pool for adults and one pool for children with lounge chairs and umbrellas for guests to use as well as direct beach access. QIUB, the pool bar, located in front of the sea, offers a wide variety of gastronomic delights and cocktails. It also has an exclusive Balinese bed and lounge chair service for a fee. The pool bar serves drinks from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm and a variety of snacks from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. We also have a bar in the lobby offering drinks from 7:00 pm to midnight. The breakfast is awesome, so much choose you will always find something delicious to eat; and the pool it is like your own little beach club. But best of all are the staff! They make this hotel the special place it is. They are so kind, considerate and always willing to help and do that little bit extra. The Bellevue bar and Hayaca restaurant were fantastic, the drinks and food there were amazing and Laura and Victor were simply phenomenal. Thank you! I can't to come back again later this year, I am already planning my trip. 5 stars all the way!

Reviewed By titi1840Marvellous hotel in a very quiet area in the north of Ibiza and next to the famous 'Los Enamorados' hotel. The service is excellent, very friendly staff, very good food, very nice and clean room! it's the 2nd time that we stay in Barcelo Portinatx and we will come back for sure!

Reviewed By 528graemeuLast minute trip away with our eldest son following his brother flying out on a school trip. Tour operator didn’t recommend the hotel for families but we enjoyed our stay and found the hotel team welcoming and engaging. Location is perfect if you want to be a little away from the main hustle of Playa D’en Bossa and a five minute walk sees you in amongst the bars and clubs that make this area so famous. Pool was clean and plenty of sun beds and we never struggled to find a place to relax, we opted for all inclusive, no issues with getting drinks and whilst we didn’t go wild we enjoyed drinks all day, the bar did close promptly at 11pm so be aware of you want a drink before heading out. Hotel was not noisy and overall we enjoyed a good few days downtime.

Enjoyable and relaxing holiday

Although we did not have a car there is an excellent ferry service to many other towns including the city of Ibiza itself. The hotel was very welcoming and although our flight had been delayed by 16hrs they had provided a cold buffet for our 03:00am arrival!! All staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel itself very clean. When our hairdryer broke it was replaced within 1hr even though it was a Sunday. All in all once we had got over our delay we had a very relaxing holiday and would certainly visit again.

The hotel has two swimming pools for adults, one for children and a spacious area with sun loungers. The buffet breakfast (from 8:00 to 11:00), lunch (from 13:30 to 15:00) and dinner (from 19:30 to 21:30) are served in the restaurant with open kitchen and its terrace overlooking the sea. The poolside bar serves drinks from 10:00 to 23:00 and also has hot snacks from 11:00 to 18:00, including a variety of dishes from different countries cooked to order. Wonderful stay, friendly staff
Reviewed By paultS6979BCWe had a great stay between 1-8 June 2022. The hotel was clean, the staff were really friendly and the food was great. The entertainment team were a lot of fun, and my two boys, aged 9 and 6, had a wonderful time. Silvana, the aqua aerobics instructor was particularly fun. It is quite a young crowd given it's Ibiza but it was also a lot of fun to be there with the family. The only issue was with the older lifeguard who tried to take my umbrella round the pool!
