The moment when I could write the sauce that used plenty of tomato in front! I do not collect! It is! Only famous tomato okonomiyaki is eaten by Kyobaba ♪ To dinner in osaka! To the sights of tourism! Enjoy the best momentum surrounded by staffs who are p
Tucked in a street corner with indoor cobblestones surrounding the booth, this little restaurant brings a homey feel to the food they create. I had a classic okonomiyaki and a grapefriut sour, and they were deliscious! They say they've been around for 42 years, and this little shop deserves the recognition. Hightly reccomend whe you're in the area. They're okonomiyaki was such a comfort food in this rainy June weather.

Small friendly family izakaya. We welcome all people and we have English speaking staff and menu. Non-smoking area available. Daily menu changes. Drop by and enjoy our local food.
Married with a japanese girl for almost 6 years, living in France, i travel to japan once a year to visit my step family and a lot of japanese friends. This Izakaya is the best i've been to!Jazz music not too loud, Friendly welcoming, Good choice of meal, fresh veggies, meat, fish, fried chicken, yakitoriVery nice presentation. Decent prices Everything you will need will be in this place!English menu available as well.
A nice cosy atmosphere to bring your partner on a date. The sukiyaki beef and pork set is reasonably priced with quality meats. They even gave us an English instruction manual on how to prepare the sukiyaki which I thought was quite thoughtful. Overall a great experience. 100% will return again when I’m in Osaka.

I was looking for a quiet place to have a meal in the Umeda area - on my own, and preferably in a Japanese restaurant. This was it. Unusual place, on the top (or 2nd from the top?) floor of the huge Yodobashi Camera building right next to the JR Osaka Station / Hankyu Umeda Station. There were 3 things I really liked about this place; 1) free wi-fi available in this building, a lot faster than in my hotel's free wi-fi, 2) Japanese food, not the fancy type, but everyday type of dishes (and I think rice & miso soup were free to top up), 3) welcoming solo diners. While I was staying in Osaka, I went to Uoman Yodobashi for twice, and I was ready to go there more. When I'm back in Osaka, I would happily return to Uoman again.

Discovered the place by accident and did not regret it. Sit by the counter if you can, to watch the chefs prepare your dish.

Good evening and welcome to Utogaria. Izakaya has been essential Japanese casual restaurant to experience Sake and various dishes for generations. We would offer this Izakaya concept in both authentic and modern style to connect today's generations. We wi
Hate to be the one who breaks from the group on this place, but we went based on Trip Advisor reviews and what I read in those reviews didn’t equal our experience. To be completely honest, this place seems very trendy, I’m not a fan of trendy. Seemed very popular w the under 30 crowd, and except for one group all local couples. I highly suggest you make a reservation. We arrived at 6:30 and were told to come back at 8:00. We walked the neighborhood, which is a bit outside the tourist area so not a lot of places to grab a drink. When we arrived back at 8, we did have two seats at their counter waiting for us. The place is small and was full this evening. In the first level, sits about 10 at the counter another 5 or so at another make-shift eating area next to counter. Never made it to the upstairs. Ordered two glasses of wine, two of their specials-one sashimi tuna, one raw oysters. Forty minutes later we still were waiting for the sashimi-I mean their raw, how long does it take? The oysters were fine as was the wine. While waiting, we ordered two more small plates but just got tired of waiting and decided to leave. We did get an English menu but no one really talked to us, no one really assisted us and everyone around us kept getting food while we waited-it was a very strange experience, not indicative of our time in Japan. The prior reviews mentioned such a “warm welcome” and “such helpfulness” but we didn’t experience anything resembling those reviews? Maybe on a slower night, they have more time available to assist the English-only tourists. To be fair, they did get us two seats but we felt like an inconvenience. With so many great reviews, maybe we just had a rare bad experience. However, it was bad enough for us not to try again. Went w three stars because anything lower I reserve for rude behavior or horrible food. We received neither.

This store is an 'All -you- can- eat restaurant'. We don't have a la carte menu. We also have lunch menus during lunch time.
We were excited to dine again in the same concept of dining what we liked most in Tokyo, but it didn’t live up to our expectation. The only thing similar is that you are barbecuing the meat yourself, but other than that it’s so different. There is no set menu, you have to order one by one the meat, side dish, rice, etc and you get less portion and it cost more compared to the one we visited in Tokyo. The ambiance is also dull and not so welcoming.
