How do I even start??The best meal I've had in japan. Nothing showy, very humble, low key even, in a nondescript neighborhood in Kobe. The dishes looked simple but were complex on textures and flavours. Execution was flawless. Flavours melded together with textures to give the mind blowing experience. Not for the faint hearted or hardcore traditionalist. This restaurant is avant garde and experimentalBehold the salad!

Visited to Osaka during cherry blossom season and plan a day trip to Kobe just to experienced on Kobe beef. Make a reservation to avoid disappointment. Set lunch is more affordable compare to set dinner. Lunch set come with appetizer, soup, rice, dessert and coffee. Beef with assorted vegetables are on the sizzling pan during the serve. You can cooked it according to your likeness.

I went to lunch on Saturday with my friend.I went to lunch at 12 o'clock, but there were about 8 people outside.I went there for the first time and told that it was a delicious restaurant. And I ordered crab cream croquette and ate, but it was very delicious because it had original sauce. There are only counter seats in the shop, so even one person can feel free to enter. There were also many celebrity signs and photos. Please go eat it. It is recommended that you go before noon.

We stayed at "nearby" Hotel Pearl City Kobe on this Port Island. The whole place is quite depressing in Japanese standard. Lots of vacant land and in the middle you find this huge IKEA store. We were told that there is a restaurant there so we decided to walk from our hotel. Yes, we reached IKEA but where is the restaurant? But first we have to find the front door! We end up walking around the whole block (American size block) and finally found the entrance. The restaurant was on the second floor but we could not get there without first walking through IKEA's furnishings and other stuff. The food was good and very affordable. It is a cafeteria style but they make most of the entrees fresh so that was nice. The place was huge and felt like an office or factory cafeteria with no atmosphere. Most of the people eating dinner were singles with their laptops or smartphones busy doing whatever they like to do. Some were reading books or magazines while eating. We were the only westerner there eating as a family. Next time we will take the train or hotel shuttle to Sannomiya or Kobe to eat dinner.

We have tried the Brasilian meat dishes here during our stay in Kobe by late May. The meats were tasty and juicy with reasonable prices. You could welll reserved your seat facing the harbour, particularly at night time when the lights were led. All English cum japanese speaking waiters with no communication barriers. Recommended.

I saw lots of blog postings about this restaurant and I finally dropped by! It was quite difficult to find and it looked like a one fine bistro in the town. Anyways I had Beefkatsu here. It was very tender and melted in my mouth! :) Highly recommend!

Went there specifically to try out the Kobe beef, we left unimpressed. Each customer has to order something. We try their set lunch. Beef is quite a good portion, I must admit. Got the more expensive ones. Beef was nice but the whole experience was quite.... (fill in the blank) . Cook was just there to cook, very minimal interaction with customers. Did not really find it impressive.

We went for lunch and selected their A4 set meal - personal preference we prefer A4 with slightly more meat taste while still having the wagyu tenderness. Go for the fried rice too! The set definitely gets you full. Everything was well cooked and seasoned! Recommend also a la carte cuttlefish - delicious and good portion. Staff speaks sone English.
