This restaurant has some rooms, and has a listing under B&Bs, but I feel should feature under restaurant section for Hunstanton - as that is its main strength and focus.
Visited here with my husband for a joint 50th birthday present. Having never eaten at a Michelin starred restaurant before, we were eagerly anticipating discovering what makes a restaurant worthy of this accolade. We were warmly greeted on arrival by Kevin, the chef proprietor , who showed us to our room. The room was smaller and less luxurious than we had imagined, but nevertheless very comfortable and clean.
We opted for the three course dinner, which actually became more like a 5 course one as we were given a pre starter and a pre dessert, as well as an amuse bouche.
My starter was out of this world....lobster , as sweet and juicy as you could imagine , in a pool of delicious veloute . It was everything and more that I had though a Michelin starred chef would produce. Absolutely delicious. For my main course I chose brill, as I had never tried it before. It arrived beautifully presented and was cooked to mouthwatering perfection. Another hit, My husband was equally impressed with his starter which incorporated a quail Sandwich that had to be eaten to be believed ( luckily my husband is a food sharer, so I got to taste a little too!) He had hake for his main course which was again a delight. Both of our desserts were lovely and rounded off the meal beautifully.
The next morning Kevin cooked and served us a gorgeous breakfast that was every bit as high quality as the evening meal had been, My husband’s porridge was decadently creamy and his full English showcased the very best of local produce, I chose the scrambled egg and locally smoked salmon option which was delicious.
We both thoroughly enjoyed our first ever experience of Michelin starred food and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Kevin and his wife were very warm and hospitable and clearly love what they do. Go and visit....you won’t be disappointed.

Went for an 80th birthday with family and friends, found the setting perfect and the food excellent apart from the choice which is a little restricted, also, having some elderly with us they were looking for something a little more traditional. Service for the meal was good but ordering drinks slow as they are fetched from the bar. Nice place good atmosphere.

We revisited this venue on our way to the N Norfolk coast. We had beer, sandwiches and soup which were tasty and good value. The menu was OK and the bar and serving staff were all friendly. The place was warm on a freezing February day.

Next to the bowling green/crazy golf in Hunstanton-best views from a cafe in town-thoroughly recommend it.
A welcome haven from howling gales. And even though it was cold outside, we plumped for some delicious ice cream from the excellent range on offer. Even though she must have thought we were mad, the cheerful young woman behind the counter cheerfully served us generous scoops.
We enjoyed them sitting by the window with wonderful views of the windswept sea.
A perfect end to a breezy holiday.

We are a little, family-run seaside bistro and coffee shop in Snettisham, just off the coast and between King's Lynn and Hunstanton. We serve breakfast and lunch Wednesday-Sunday and dinner Thursday-Saturday. Our main aim is to offer delicious, homemade, fresh and imaginative food, sourced locally whenever possible. We hope, that The Old Bank will soon become your home away from home and that our little bistro will mean as much to you as it does to us...
I visited the Old Bank with family on a Saturday evening for dinner.
This is a small bistro style restaurant with approximately a dozen or so tables and is open Wednesday through to Sunday.
There is a warm welcome by the very friendly staff, and a menu which is full of local seasonal produce.
For a small restaurant I was pleasantly surprised by its menu with some wonderful looking dishes. Each course had a choice of 4 or 5 dishes and there was something there for most tastes.
There was also a smallish wine list with some good wines which were reasonably priced, and a comprehensive list of other beverages.
The food when it arrived was well presented and beautifully cooked. The staff were able to talk about and describe the ingredients.
My three guests and myself all agreed that this was one of the very best meals we had the pleasure of in a long time and we all agreed that we would visit again without hesitation.
This is a little gem of a restaurant and is very highly recommended.

My wife booked this restaurant for my Birthday meal, having heard some good reviews, but we were left disappointed.
The service was slow despite initially only two tables being seated. We were kept waiting far too long for our wine to be delivered, and were not served the complimentary bread and olives. My wife ordered the Duck which she enjoyed and I ordered a medium rare fillet steak which was well done to medium, and took a bit of sawing with a steak knife. When we pointed out to the sole waiter about the bread, he apologised but actually admitted knowing when it was too late. We were given a free desert as an apology. Although the waiter was very friendly, his service was slow, despite so few people in the restaurant. I have no doubt we caught him on a bad night. But all in all the whole experience was average.

My partner and I popped in here to get out of the rain and have a drink to warm up.
The drinks were nice and we noticed the lovely cakes that they served so decided to call in another day to try them.
We were not disappointed my partner had apple pie and cream which he really enjoyed while I had coffee and walnut cake which was lovely.
we will definitely return here to try other things on their menu.

We booked in to the café for the start of My Mum and Dads 50th Wedding anniversary day out to Hunstanton. The staff in the café were amazing and catered for 10 of us for full English which was delicious.
