Hoageez serves Authentic Old-School hoagies made on fresh baked Philadelphia rolls. We slice our veggies, cheese and premium all natural meats fresh and to order. We refuse to sacrifice freshness. Because of this policy we routinely sell out of our fresh baked Philly rolls and close for the day.
If you don't order on line or over the phone, you can expect to wait about half an hour for your order. This place is popular, because the ingredients are FRESH! They open when the bread is delivered and close when they run out, around...MoreThank you Katilurn for your review and for pointing out our online ordering. We highly recommend online ordering since some days it can be very busy and it's hard to answer every call. Hope to see you again soon!

The menu is huge and prices are on the lower side, so beware that most items are not prepared fresh, but from frozen.
We had fish and Mac and cheese on a Friday, and the fish obviously was a frozen product reheated. The Mac and cheese was nothing special and lacked seasoning.
I'm sure people like the lower prices and the free scoop of ice cream for dessert, but if you're looking for homemade, you find much of it here.

Voted "Best New Restaurant" by Harrisburg Magazine in 2009, Piazza Sorrento is a modern Italian restaurant based on the "Old World" Italian recipes of the owner's family back in Italy. The Bolognese sauce they grew up on and the tradition of family is the cornerstone of the Piazza Sorrento dining experience. Dedicated to providing the finest in service, food, and wine at a fair and competitive price, Piazza Sorrento makes regional and classic Italian cuisine using premium local ingredients while keeping the history of the dish and region intact. Piazza Sorrento not only provides the best in authentic Italian cooking this side of the Atlantic, but also believes that all patrons, whether adults or children, should be welcomed like one big family - even those with certain dietary requirements. That is why Piazza Sorrento is widely known for their extensive Gluten Free menu, another reason patrons routinely drive over an hour or more to dine in relative ease and safety.
My family visited Hershey Chocolate World for my son's birthday. On my last trip to Hershey, I had identified Piazza Sorrento as a place to eat because of its high ratings. Unfortunately, I was unable to dine here on that last trip. I was thrilled to have the opportunity this time around.
We made reservations through OpenTable and arrived 30 minutes early. They seated us right away in a booth. Our server, Nate, was very pleasant. Our meals consisted of the - Chicken and Penne, Nonno Vincenzo Sausage & Peppers, and Garlic Shrimp Pasta. All three meals were delightful. There flavor combinations were superb.
These dishes tasted just as good (maybe better) the next day after the flavor seeped in some more.

Smoked Bar & Grill brings fresh, authentic Mexican fare to Hershey!
Dined recently and although I've reviewed Smoked before, this latest experience deserves an updated review. What happened to your food? I always order the brisket sandwich. However, the brisket is NOT the same as it used to be. It used to be melt-in-your-mouth tender. Now it is tough, chewy, and dry. Our server was not pleasant at all and acted like we were bothering her. I hope this was just an off night and things haven't really gone downhill...

Great location across from Hummelstown Hampton Inn. Open until 9 PM. Extremely friendly service staff. They even have a drive-up window. Excellent selection of ice cream, fresh made waffle cones, specialty sundaes and it was delicious! Plenty of seating: adirondack chairs, picnic tables with palapa umbrellas, indoor table seating too. Enjoyed it very much.

We ate here for breakfast one morning. There was not a single clean table and my breakfast cost $18.

Very nice Italian restaurant that appears to be a local favorite. The staff knew many patrons by name. The food and service were both excellent. I arrived at 5:45 in the evening on a Tuesday to find the restaurant empty. By 6:20 all the tables were full.

For our last dinner in Pennsylvania, we stopped here, and picked up two extra large pizzas to take to our daughter's house. I had read the reviews, and noticed many people, both eating in the small restaurant, and lined up at the front counter to order take out. Figured that the pizzas must be delicious.
Unfortunately, they were awful. The crust was so heavy, it was like eating dense bread rolls. Everything was bland, and the tomato sauce seemed to not have been seasoned. One pizza was a vegetarian, and we found no vegetables except onions, olives and bell peppers, and a tiny handful of mushrooms. Where were the tomatoes, the eggplant, the zucchini, etc.? That's how "Papa John's" makes vegetarian in Arizona. The other pizza was "The Meat Lover", which we got for our son-in-law, and he said nothing, but we knew he was as disappointed as the rest of us.
Perhaps, pizza depends much on location. The pizza that they love here, is just not the same as the pizza we love in the West.

Eat here periodically with mixed success. Tonite the food was truly nasty. Microwaved overlooked shrimp, tasteless fettuccine , an over cooked steak and a raw and cold baked potato. The drinks were flat. Yikes! They could not get anything right.
