Beautifully restored with lovely amenities in an excellent location. Comfy beds, very nice baths, and a lovely electric fireplace all add up to a great home away from home. Amenities include a well stocked Keurig, a mini fridge, a room safe and an amazing shower system. Front desk was friendly and helpful. The whole hotel was very clean and the housekeeping staff was very amiable. Overall a lovely stay.

The Wick, Hudson, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is a repurposed 1860's candle factory lovingly restored into a 55 room boutique hotel in Hudson, New York. We have a variety of both king and queen rooms, sprinkled with Junior and Luxury suites. The majority of our rooms have elevated ceiling heights and most have an original historical elements such as brick, beams or original wood flooring. We offer free valet parking as well as a EV charging station. Our local shuttle is available for our guests. We are nestled a short distance from Hudson's Amtrak train station.
The Wick may not be your usual Marriott, but it is absolutely up to Marriott standards. The place is funky but quite nice. First, it's a renovated warehouse. They fixed it up but left a few industrial touches. There isn't really any view to speak of, which would be the only strike but I don't care for views when I'm sleeping. Our suite was very spacious with quality furniture and fixtures. The beds were comfortable, even the pullout sofa bed by sofa bed standards. The bathroom was impressively large with a big shower. Even the toiletry amenities were good quality.

Very cool building on the main strip with all the shops and restaurants in the quaint little town. Also close to the park on the Hudson River. Clean and comfortable room with access to porch and private outdoor space. The owner was very accommodating as our plans had to change.

Believe the bad reviews. We were booked to stay two nights. After the first night we drove 45 minutes to stay at a familiar hotel at significant inconvenience. Room was filthy. Walls very thin. Ordinary conversation of next room easy to hear.

Boutique hotel in the heart of Hudson with modern design and a pool.
We had a wonderful stay at the Amelia. Enjoyed the beautiful pool, tastefully furnished suite and high-quality finishes. Definitely a great choice for any Hudson traveler. The location is great, a two minute walk from everything on Warren St., a five minute drive from the Rip Van Winkle bridge and an in-town location on a street of magnificent historic homes. The property has been extensively renovated and restored. The floors and original finishes are wonderful. The modern amenities make it a great place to stay. We’ll be back!

Micosta should be delisted from Bookings and other sites as a place to stay. We arrived at a house that was a shambles on the inside, and a junk yard on the outside. We were really hoping our GPS made a mistake, but that was not so. We went in to the front cautiously and unarmed, so we were nervous. Once in there we saw open rooms that looked like they were inhabited by crack addicts. The front yard had about 20 cats laying all over. We were in the right/wrong place, but got in the car and backed down the long dirt driveway at high speed. We contacted Bookings and they refused to give us a refund. Bookings is gone for us now, and Micosta, should be closed by the department of health and checked out by the local police.

Love to share your space with rodents? Then this is for you! Absolutely the most disgusting thing in the world to be kept awake all night due to the sound of rodents in the ceiling. Totally ruined a celebration weekend. Michelle, the woman on call, could not have been nicer when we called due to the all-night gnawing and scratching. She apologized profusely, stated that she would alert the owner asap, and the stay would be refunded. When checking on the refund, the owner refused, stated that Michelle had no authority, and that we should have our lawyer contact him. Yikes. Sickening rodent infestation, horrendous customer service and hostility issues.

The Howard Hotel is more like staying at an airbnb than a hotel. There is no staff on site. You let yourself in and turn on the heat. Our large room was cold on arrival but warmed up adequately. Furnishings were modern and minimalistic but adequate for a one night stay. Everything was spotlessly clean. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The top floor was quiet but lower rooms heard a good bit of noise from adjoining rooms and above. The “reception” area has a few tables, a nespresso machine/pods and hot water/tea bags. The location is excellent for exploring Hudson on foot and it was easy to park. Would happily return.
