To say that Ca' MEA is the best restaurant in Hudson is to give it less credit than it deserves. The food is sheer perfection, absolutely fresh, beautifully cooked, and plated without the pretension so common to eateries in its class, which seems meant to warn you not to try this at home. The waiters appear the minute you want them and never when you don't. Ca'MEA would be great at a normal urban price-point, but it's way below that. Try the pasta vongole.

We went to Rive Gauche for a birthday brunch two weeks ago. Conveniently located with street parking and parking lot proximity. Beautiful renovation job on an historic building. Great choice of breakfast/brunch selections with a really incredible hash if you like. Decent serving sizes. Attentive waitstaff. Yummy drinks for those so inclined. Will be going back to try dinner sometime soon.

We stopped in on Sunday afternoon before going to see a movie. It was around 12:30 pm and was fairly empty. Great for us. We had two pizza's, soup and sandwiches. The pizza was excellent. Thin Crust and not mushy or floppy. Everything was very tasty and great atmosphere.
We left at 1:30 and the place was standing room only on a very quite Sunday Christmas Eve. A strong testament to the quality of food and service.

Brew pub has been open for a year or so. They have just today opened their kitchen. We just got back from our first meal and it has been worth the wait. They are using as much local produce and meats as is available. As newly starting the restaurant we were very impress. It is going to get better. Congratulations Crossroads !! It has been worth the wait !!
We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised by this place and some of its unusual (for a brew pub) offerings. The Arugula-Date Salad was enormous and filled with fragrant pecans, pieces of smokey bacon, and topped with a generous portion of high-quality blue cheese from nearby Saratoga County. I also had the onion rings which were crisp, hand-cut and nicely sweet.
My boyfriend had the mussels in ale broth, which he deemed excellent and the lobster roll, which turned out to be TWO generously stuffed lobster rolls with a side of fries. The fries, by the way, were divine! Shoestring and properly greasy. This is not a knock - there's nothing worse than dry, mealy fries and these were quite the opposite.
Our waitress, Lindsay, was helpful and friendly. My boyfriend and I remarked that we would not have found anything remotely like this in neighboring tourist trap locations such as Saratoga Springs or Lake George. It pays to venture out into the sleepier towns. Athens and Crossroads Brewing are definitely worth the trip.

Swoon Kitchenbar offers a large choice of dishes (incl vegetarians) which are perfectly cooked. Whether you are addicted to meat, fish, vegetables or pasta you will enjoy your meal. Deserts are also tasty. The atmosphere is cheerful thanks to the bar. Much recommended

When the no-substitutions rule also means they won't get you a side of brussel sprouts (on the menu for the veggie combo) and they insist on taking your whole order at once, the restaurant is firmly in control of the experience. They weren't so good at that control. The food was good but aggressively priced and aggressively paced and that is not a particularly diner-friendly combination.

We enjoyed a weekday brunch here while staying in town. My husband enjoyed the omelette with ham and gruyere. I had a traditional breakfast of perfectly cooked over eggs, potatoes and bacon. Both were served with lightly dressed mixed greens and a slice of baguette. Our server was very kind and efficient. Reasonable prices and relaxed atmosphere. We will be back again!

Vico offers a modern take on traditional Tuscan cuisine using the freshest local ingredients from the Hudson Valley in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Gluten-free and vegetarian options available.
We have enjoyed several dinners here. We've sampled appetizers, salads, meat and pasta entrees, desserts and wine by the glass. Our most recent favorites were the crispy eggplant chips and pork with a light, lemony arugula and tomato topping. The menu is varied, creative and large enough to please everyone. The food is individually prepared, customizable and wonderfully fresh and flavorful. In addition to the great food, we truly enjoy Lisbeth. She is delightful - such a friendly, helpful, charming, witty and super efficient server - a true asset! The environment is relaxed, yet special and the prices are reasonable. Every meal has been perfect and this place is by far our number one in choice in Hudson. We will be back!!

Serving food and drink inspired by the bounty of the Hudson Valley, Helsinki Hudson houses a beautiful and comfortable Restaurant with outdoor dining during the warmer months in our Courtyard, an intimate Club/Music Venue where performers from all over the world play on a nightly basis and our Ballroom - a gorgeous private event space which is perfect for your wedding or any special occasion.
My husband and I saw a great concert here on Saturday night, perfect acoustics and sight lines, plus a dance floor! Tables of different sizes are staggered so some are closer and some are farther back.
We had eaten before we came, so just had drinks and couldn't resist an order of fries to snack on. Friendly and efficient waitress service. We will be back!

Loved this place, highly recommended. Fresh, fresh, creative comfort food and warm service. Old fashioned soda is out of this world--try the root beer. Chili with grated cheddar and raw red onions was very good, Salad with toasted goat cheese pattie excellent. Everybody else, however, was eating the burgers, for which Grazin' is renowned, including gourmet options, such as beef patties with ham and celeriac.
