Things to do in Hudson

The Auberge Willow Inn has opened its doors once again. An institution in Hudson since 1820, it has been a revered retreat for local and long-distance fans alike. With a breathtaking waterfront location along the Lake of Two Mountains, the Willow has nine picturesque bedrooms, a recently renovated iconic pub, an expansive outdoor Seating and dining area, and an impeccably decorated interior ideal for the most tasteful weddings, celebrations and corporate events.
Must give a thumbs down to the highly awaited visit to the recently opened Willow Place Inn. The renovations themselves are very open and nicely appointed.
The limited lunch menu is very restricted. No onion soup, garlic bread, even Fish and chips not there! Who wants fish chowder...none of us!?
I ordered a hamburger which I had to send back as it was undercooked. When I got it back it was done only a bit more. I really did not like it nor the french fries. The only good thing was the in house sourdough bread.
My husband absolutely refuses to go back. I might go with a few ladies for a drink outside on the patio which has always been lovely. For lunch and dinner we will happily return to MON VILLAGE!
Please change this menu...dinner does not look too promising either...only two things I would choose...the lamb or rib eye steak.

This business does close between the hours of 2pm and 5pm Tuesday-Sunday. Closed on Mondays
How fortunate that my boyfriend suggested we go for dinner at Carambola. It was divinely delicious. We sat at the bar so we could watch the ladies (Jamie Lee and Sara), make culinary magic. We ordered 4 tapas to share. The salmon tartare was melt in your mouth, The scallops were decadent. The lobster poutine was yummy. The halibut was tender. For dessert we enjoyed the peach cheesecake. Bring your own wine. Reservations are necessary as this is a popular little jewel of a place. The lady chefs did an awesome job and clearly enjoy being artists in their field. will definitely return again.

My wife and I recently visited Mon Village for a celebration. I had called a week earlier to request a table near rhe fireplace in the pub. When we arrived tbe restaueant was very busy but we were shown to our table immediately and as requested it was beside the beautiful round fireplace. The server greeted us promprly and took our drink orders while we looked at the menu. A shortwhile later she returned with our drinks and answered a couple of our questions regarding the specials of the day. I decided to go with the prime rib and requested medium rare. My wife ordered the steak. We noticed a large group occupied the back of the pub so we thought our meals would take a while. Well after we finished our drinks in a leisurely manner our meals arrived. This place knows how to treat the customers and service is excellent. Our meals were delicious. Even though it was later in the evening my roast beef came out perfectly medium rare. It was served with Yorkshire pudding which has to be made from scratch. The pub can get a little loud when it is busy but it was still a very nice evening. The restaurant itself is an old farm house and the theme is kept throught both the restaurant and pub areas. We definitely will go back and maybe sit in the dining room this time.

Came twice within the same month; once with a colleague and once with a friend. Atmosphere and decor are very important to me... right up there with the quality of the food. This place did not disappoint. It was highly recommended by someone at work.
LIKED: vast choice in lunch and breakfast menu (arrived between 11-12 so both were available), service friendly & unhurried -- so could linger in visiting with my meal companions, decor very charming. I would consider this a real treat for breakfast. Food was always delicious and had the homecooked feel. Also known for their summer ice-cream serving space at the far end of the building, a nice touch was adding a swirl of soft ice-cream to their dessert.
LIKED less: if you are looking for a Quebec diner breakfast with a full platter for under $10, this is NOT the place. A little on the pricey side but would still go back. Parking is limited in front of the restaurant, but there is parking across the street a short few steps down the road.

It is a small lunch place on Main Street. It should be listed.
Classic local cafe where you can catch up on all the local news, sit down with the mayor, read the paper and enjoy endless cups of coffee, while being taken care of by the family that runs the place!

A well established British Tea Room and Florist Shop serving High Tea all day long. We have a beautiful and inviting tea room to celebrate birthdays, wedding showers, anniversaries and anything else you can imagine including just sitting down and enjoying a refreshing and well prepared pot of tea with the best scone you can find. We also purchase and prepare fresh bouquets of flowers and can deliver in the Hudson, Como, Vaudreuil, St Lazare Delivery area. Call us and let us be your local choice and come for a visit. We also sell Harney's teas along with many other delicious types. See you very soon.

Made Reservations on a Wednesday night and the place was very busy. There was only one waitress taking care of everyone. She was pleasant and efficient even though she was always on the go. Took a little while to get our sushi and they were all on the same platter. There was no explanation of what was in the plate, but just by looking we could tell. We had ordered the Bisquo, Tuyo, Kamikaze II and the Spicy Hotate. Everything was tasty, but the Kamikaze II was my favorite. Nothing was out of this world, but the quality and quantity was perfect and the price was very fair. I would ask for rice paper next time as I prefer it to the seaweed. I would go back.

I have visited Pizza Greco a few times while on a motorcycle ride through the beautiful roads leading to Oka from Ontario. Pizza Greco has never disappointed. Their pizza, souvlakis and most notably their poutines are among the best!
PS for those riding in the Montreal area, this is worth a stop. Easy access from the ferry in Hudson.

Terrible food, heavy and not good. 4 plates, 4 no comestible. Rice with bad taste, veal with too much cheese and cream. Fish and lasagna not better: 70$ , turn your path, and some where else. The "chief" should do a other job!
