Cristiano Ristorante is committed to offering traditional Italian food paired with hints of Mediterranean soul. Our knowledgeable and welcoming staff will ensure your dining experience exceeds your expectations.
Have been twice recently, on Sundays. I have opted for the brunch, specifically the 3 egg frittata de mer (light egg dish with crab, shrimp, cheese=so delicious!). Get the unending poinsettia instead of plain champagne or mimosa. Poinsettias have cranberry juice instead of oj . I find it to be clean and refreshing. If you “do” brunch you will also get fresh fruit and potatoes. Their coffee is fresh, hot, and a delicious blend. If you need an appetizer I’d recommend the (pomodoro) fried green tomato/crabmeat stack. Very shareable. Lastly, I always get great service. The opening bread with olive oils and water is delicious too. Thinking I’d better make Mother’s Day reservations——Now! 5

Big Mike's BBQ Smokehouse is Houma's only home-style BBQ destination. At Big Mike's BBQ Smokehouse we offer amazing brisket, smoked Turkey, baby back ribs, and the best hamburger in Houma. We understand the need for quality BBQ in southern Louisiana and have spent more than a year perfecting our sauce, which we know you will love.
Best BBQ in Louisiana! Period!. I travel a lot and eat out everyday. This is my favorite resturant in Houma and in Louisiana. I love the spare ribs, they dont even need sauce. I love their original sauce best. My whole family loves Big Mike's. The food is very consistant. I have eaten just about everything they serve. I have brought cutomers in from Texas, Missississppi, Alabama and Georgia there, they all said that they liked it. I have used them to cater for customers with great satisfaction.
I highly recommend Big Mikes to everyone. Keep up the good work guys and gals.

Do not miss this restaurant. We stopped for lunch on the way to New Orleans and were simply amazed. The food is fabulous and very authentic. Not too spicy and generous portions.Plus the waitstaff couldn't be better. Always there when you needed them. Be sure to order the onion rings as one of your sides.Very, very good. The coleslaw was also perfect. My wife had a pound of boiled shrimp and was very pleased. My dish was their specialty "seafood cakes". Do not miss them. The sauce was fabulous!!i

This is a true Cajun place with lots & lots of seafood & the atmosphere to match. There is a bar so alcohol is served. The place is so popular with the locals that there may be a wait for seating. Also do not plan to eat & go here, they are not a fast food restaurant. They do seafood and crustaceans every way they can be done. It's a must try.

Ate there Tue, 12/05/2017 around 4:30pm. This local favorite eatery was nearby and unanimously recommended by our hotel staff. We now understand why. The restaurant exterior is typical, but the mid-sized interior displayed a unique seafood décor. There was no wait before we were led to our table. The average size menu included descriptions of the dishes. Got a pitcher of beer to get through the process. Everything was clean. Portion size was huge. Food quality was good. Time to order, food to table and time to bill were all quite good by our attentive waitress.
I had their excellent gumbo ($4.95) and a jaw-drop size combination platter with oysters, fried shrimp, oysters and fish along with sides ($21.95). Wife got the same but with different sides. We then shared a delicious bread pudding (5.95). Drinks were tea (2.25) Pitcher beer (12). Honestly neither of us could finish everything on the plate. Big portions! Cost before tip was $76.30.

Locals and business people eat here. Few tourists. Authentic gumbo and other Cajun dishes. Friendly wait staff. Nothing fancy. Wooden floors in old cabin-like building.

This is a well kept local secret as it is well off the beaten path. Down home Cajun to its core. There is live music occasionally. It's atmosphere is shabby chic Cajun, but the food is good & reasonably priced.

Love the Decore. We had gumbo and soft shell crab. Grilled oysters were good though texture varied from oyster to oyster. The seasoning on fried soft shell crab was a bit too salty and the crab was mostly shell. Would probably get crawfish or another boil if I went back.

This is a great place -- far away from giant retail stores -- where locals go to enjoy seafood. Try the gumbo and the appetizers.
