Food was decent and quick to come out. Waiter who served us was friendly, polite and went the extra mile. They also managed very well as it was very busy the whole evening and people everywhere. Would come again

Family run hotel offering quality accommodation with bar and restaurant. Holiday parking and transfers to and from Gatwick
Stayed here for what we thought would be a restful night before our flight on June 8th Unfortunately not the greatest hotel Main alarm went off briefly at 10.30pm The at 4am ( for 10 mins !! ) Add to this the shower head that was broken The evening meal that took an hour to get plus the parking which seemed a nightmare I feel for anyone leaving their car there whilst away ( definitely not recommended ) Broken toilet seat just about summed it up If you like a fawlty towers experience then please be my guest and ignore this.

This is our second stay at Lawn Guest House and we will certainly be booking to stay here again. Perfectly located for Gatwick Airport and the bonus is that it is mot on the flight path so it is very quiet. The room was spotlessly clean with very comfortable bed, excellent bed linen. The bathroom in our room is also very modern. Plenty of variety for the continental breakfast. Looking forward to our next stay.

Stayed here for 1 night before an early morning flight. Staff are very friendly and the hotel is easy to get to. However our room was not nice, I’m not sure if all of the rooms have been renovated yet but it didn’t seem ours had. Stains all over the carpet, bathroom not very clean, lots of damp and staining on the roof. Fine for 1 night but wouldn’t come back.

We stayed at Trumbles the night before our flight to Malta. We opted to have the shuttle service that is provided and also to leave our car at their secure parking area whilst we were away. On arrival we were given a warm welcome by Julia and shown to our room which was comfortable with a good view. We had to be at the airport for 03.45am, and Julia very kindly packed a breakfast which we took with us. Julia drove us there and arranged the return journey for when we arrived back to the UK. We met David at the airport for the return journey to collect our car which was ready and waiting. We will definitely use Trumbles again as the service we received was excellent. 5 stars and a huge thank you to our hosts.

We checked in only to find our room had no power. We left for a few hours while they attempted to fix the problem. When we returned, there was still no power and they said it would not get fixed until the following day. Later we found out there boiler was broken and there was no hot water. We politely told them we were leaving and going to another hotel. We requested a refund but the owner made it clear that hot water and electricity are not guaranteed. ?? lol He refused a refund and very arrogantly challenged me to write a bad review. This is not a honorable establishment and the owner is not a respectable business person. This B&B is in a state of disrepair and I strongly encourage you to find another location to stay if you are in the area.

Arrived, had to ring for Jo to come, put us in a loft room very pleasant, until we started looking around, with wires running everywhere, no proper facilities, after 1 hour, realised no bedding for the sofa bed. Some women delivered it an said oh those stairs are steep, (the ones without any barriers) don't put children on that room. Lucky only there for six hours. Got up couldn't drink the soft drinks they were uncovered in the hall way. Had no towels found them the next day in the hall way . Left by taxi early morning. when we got back at 12.30the car was blocked in, Jo did not have the keys and said oh well there's nothing I can do. We followed her to her private area where she shut the gate and when I pushed it open she shouted that I was attacking her. She then hid in her room, she didn't know who's cars were blocking in us in, we had to knock up some poor bloke, lucky he was the one who's car was behind us, eventually got it at 2.30 am after lots of running around and cajoling Jo and her friends. She just ain't on the ball. There were approx 20 odd cars in her private drive. God knows how she operates, she takes no details. Don't know who stays. Some poor bloke was trying to call her to get in, she ignored him , when the other bloke opened the door, we told him just to go in the nearest empty room, she just wasn't bothered. Wtf. Worse than faulty towers.

Dirty,tv broken, curtains hanging of the rail, bathroom was ok but took an hour to fill the bath, holes in doors, sockets hanging of walls,we were flying next day and laughed about it but Don’t take kids or wife there! Indian fawlty towers comes to mind,it was the worst “hotel” I ever stayed in (apart from that one time in Amsterdam in the 99s) and Iv stayed in some rough places! Check out time 11am,we were gone by 9 it was that bad.I’d say don’t go there but if you are just a bunch of blokes going away the next day and you drink enough alcohol then I suppose it’s slightly better than the airport terminal benches at Gatwick which is just down the road, don’t even bother looking at the “breakfast” on offer as you would probably not eat for the rest of the week.like I said my mate and laughed and made the most of it but seriously, book this place and bring the family and you are in for trouble and a terrible start to your holidays lol
