You'll find great burgers that come in all variations here. Some come with a spicy sauce they call Boom, and it's great. A little sweet and a little kick to it. The kids chicken strips were perfect too. The restaurant was clean, the service friendly, and the atmosphere was fun. This is located in downtown, so get off the highway, see Hope and enjoy a wonderful burger.

This Baskin - Robbins is inside of the Exxon gas station, just off of I - 30 exit 30. The building also houses Wendy's in Hope. The ice cream is very good, and there aren't that many Baskin - Robbins in this area, so it's a rare treat to stop here. I had a sundae, and chose two of their sherbets, instead of ice cream. One flavor was watermelon, which I had never tried before, and it was delicious. One concern I had was that there seemed to be no place to sit down to enjoy my sundae, but the staff said I could use the table and chairs in the Wendy's restaurant. The Exxon gas station is connected to Wendy's by a passageway within the building. They were right. Nobody said anything when I brought my ice cream into Wendy's.

Local BBQ chain.
Passed through Hope many times and have seen billboard but never stopped. Finally stopped at lunch today. Everything that I had exceeded expectations. They have free pinto beans spiced just right with the barbeque sauce bar. The pulled pork was awesome along with the best sweet potato fries. Had to check out the fried pies which were wonderful!

When in town for work, I frequent Dos Locos. Their service is always prompt and friendly. The good is consistent across a fairly wide menu. And they are one of the only restaurants in town that serve adult beverages. The Ritas are marginal but their beer is ice cold.

After reading all the glowing Tripadvisor reviews, we thought that Amigo Juan's would be good place for authentic Mexican food while we were visiting Hope and we were right! Everything was great. The extensive Mexican menu, the attentive service and the authentic Mexican ambiance were all spot on.
The Amigo Juan Menu has something for everyone's palate and price. They have wonderful Appetizers, Soup and Salad Combo, Quesadillas, Combo Platters, and 19 House Specials as well as a great Lunch Menu and Daily Lunch Special which are served from Monday thru Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm. And for those not in the mood for Mexican that day, then you can order something from their Hamburger & Steak Menu! And yes, they do serve complimentary tortilla chips and red and green sauce with every meal. But I also have to say that I really loved their green sauce and found it to be quite tasty and distinctive from anything that I have ever tasted and that is saying a lot!
Last by certainly not least, I want to give a tip of the hat and a special thank you to our waiter, Peyton, who provided us with friendly and attentive service while dining at Amigo Juan's.
Travelers Tip: This is a great place to dine while in Hope AR and it is really easy for the Interstate 30 traveler to locate. They also have private room which would be great for parties and meetings and I believe seats up to 32 diners.

Glad we did! Husband had catfish platter with fried okra and hush puppies and I had the club sandwich on fresh toast for our lunch selections. Not fancy but clean and delicious homemade food. So much better than fast food options and only a couple of minutes off the interstate:)

Been seeing lots on social media about this place...always delicious photos!
First of all, this is located in a repurposed barn, in a very rural location. We actually drove down a couple miles of gravel road. Then you park in someone's front yard. Seating was pretty limited... I'm guessing about 25-30. There is a patio but I'm uncertain about the seating there. Ok, enough on the prelims!
Family owned and operated. Very friendly staff. Pretty attentive. Sometime a bit too anxious (you can get too much of a good thing).
This is not fast food and you will wait for your food. We had escargot as an appetizer that was quite tasty.
Our main courses were salmon with asparagus and chicken Marsala with risotto. Food was definitely good, not outstanding. Maybe it was our menu selections.
Kinda doubtful we will go back. Not because we had a bad experience but more because we've been there and done that. It was interesting, for sure. I certainly would not discourage anyone from trying it.

This McDonald's is the only location they have in Hempstead County, as well as neighboring Nevada County and Lafayette County, so you can imagine it's busy. It is also conveniently located on Hervey St., which is US 278, near I -30 at exit 30. It has been at this location for years. A few years ago they tore down their old building and put an entirely new one in its place. It has two lanes in the drive thru, which shows how busy they are. I thought it was nice that the whole drive thru area was filled with flowers. That shows a sense of taste and style. The french fries were good. They were golden in color, and not brown, as I have encountered at some other locations. The staff was pretty efficient too. For all these reasons I have to rate this McDonald's location as being above average. Also note for those traveling on I - 30 this is the only McDonald's between Texarkana and Arkadelphia, a distance of about 75 miles.

They are everywhere, these Subway restaurants. Hope's version is small, but vintage 'Subway." You know what you want when you walk in the door, and you are not disappointed. Given Hope's limited choices in restaurants, this one is good for budget, variety and predictable quality.
