True italian experience. Lunch,brunch,dinner,catering
We had passed this restaurant by for years, Bought a Groupon and gave it a try. Was so good we can not wait to return, Hope it is as good as the first time. From the soup to the salad appetizer and entree. We should have ordered less it was too much.

I originally gave this restaurant a poor review based on an unpleasant visit. My husband and I decided to try once more at the behest of the staff. We decided on a pre Christmas holiday celebration and this time we were not disappointed. We were treated with respect from the minute we walked through the door. Our server was friendly , knowledgeable and attentive. Both our meals were served hot and delicious . The experience had taken on a 360 degree turnaround compared to an earlier visit. Happy to say the owners are serious about making each trip to this restaurant both memorable and satisfying to all . Happy Holidays Mamma Lombardi’s.

Coming Soon!
We visited Chachama on a December Friday evening. The restaurant was crowded and we were thankful that friends had made a reservation.
We were seated quickly. Our waitress explained the specials before taking our drink orders. The menu was varied and the specials all sounded delicious, but ultimately I ordered steak off the menu
The bartender visited our table to confirm our drink orders and ask exactly which spirits we would like on our drinks - a nice touch. The drinks were expertly prepared and delicious.
The food matches the drinks - very tasty and expertly prepared. Everyone was happy with their selections. The service was also quite good.
We will be back if in the area.

Went to Ole with a Portuguese friend who said his family enjoyed this restaurant...but that it wasn't one of his favorites....I should have guessed from that statement that I would not enjoy the food. The atmosphere is cafeteria-like, not warm or inviting at all. Service seems varied - several of the wait staff do not speak English and sometimes they are at your table every 5 minutes, other times you are waiting a bit for service, etc. Unlike most Portuguese restaurants on Long Island, they do not serve a complimentary house salad prior to your entrée, but do put olives and bread/butter on the table - bread was cold and very dry. Ordered a fish special - the fish was overcooked and minimally seasoned, but the fried potatoes were awesome. I'll skip Ole next time I am in the area.

We were from out of town and looking to sample some authentic New York bagels. The offerings at this deli-like sote were excellent. The flavored spreads were great, and the flavors were as creative as I've seen. Fairly priced, and quick friendly service, too.

Authentic Irish pub atmosphere, but better food, LOL Great burgers, and classic pub grub. Warm, friendly atmosphere.

First, there are a few things they make there that are extraordinary. Their cheesecakes and rugeluch are both excellent. They also make the best black and white cookies you will ever find anywhere. I also like their fresh baked rolls. In the "very good" category are their crumb cake and danish horns as well as their cookies. There is so much more that I have not tried yet. I don't know if they bake on premises (I never smell the baking) but the baked goods I have tried all taste very, very fresh. There are also tables for those who want to sit with a cappucino and a bakery snack. Recommended.

The food here is just as good if not better than it's famous neighbor, Mamma Lombardi and it's a lot less expensive. Very good wait staff. Food was very good, friendly local eatery

Recently went to Chili's for dinner with friends. Restaurant was crowded but only waited 20 minutes. Appetizers and dinners were very greasy. Food was okay nothing special. Our waitress was the best, very attentive and fast.

Fax Chix is a Fun and Friendly Restaurant in Farmingville, Long Island that serves Portuguese and Mexican food including steak, seafood, tacos and tortas. Sunday specials include lamb dishes and tripe soup, and the restaurant has a full bar serving cocktails, sangria and beer. The attached market sells a variety of imported Portuguese and Central American specialty foods.
This is the place. We had a really good meal here. Lunch: fried red snapper. Grilled brazini. Rice and beans. Chicken fajitas. Good portions , fresh cooked, and reasonable price. Four beers and a Diet Coke. Don't let the line scare you. I'll go back.
