Hotel Schaumburg has been the gathering point in the heart of Holstebro since 1852. Inside the hotel the unrivalled Restaurant Brasserie Between and our Scottish pub, Fox and Hounds. Free access to water park. Free wireless internet and free parking.
My room at Hotel Schaumberg was clean and simple, with an excellent view of a pretty historical brick building across the street nicely decorated for Christmas. It turned out to be the local jail! (There's also a famous Alberto Giacometti statue out front called "Maren" - it descends into the ground at night and rises up again in the morning, to protect it from vandalism.) I walked from Holsterbro train station, an easy 10-minute walk, but there is taxi service/parking at the back of the hotel. Front desk staff was friendly and breakfast was tasty, with good scrambled eggs and bacon. If you stay here, don't miss the big Larsen candy and chocolate shop, which is about a 2-minute walk from the back entrance of the hotel, right behind the newly-built cinema. I did a lot of my Christmas shopping there!

Nice camping site close to water and forest. Lot of activities for the children, playground, animals, pool and more.
My husband and I enjoyed a 6-day stay here and loved the campground more every day! The owner is so friendly and accommodating of our every need, and seems to be living his dream. That was so inspiring to us! Very clean bathrooms with family showers, nice pool area, jumping trampoline and go cars for kids. We enjoyed the bike paths, the nearby beaches (too far to walk to, but about 10 easy minutes by bike), and the cookout evening on Saturday. We would love to come back sometime.

Nye ejere pr. 1.

Norre Vosborg - Historic manor house with new possibilitiesThe possibilities at the over 700-year old manor house Norre Vosborg are endless. It was here that Hans Christian Andersen wrote "In praise of the elderflower",dining is available in the North Wing from the 1600's, dream sweet dreams in the comfortable rooms in the former farm's barnhouse, and experience cultural arrangements. The entire manor has been redecorated with respect foryesteryear.
Our experience at Nørre Vosborg bordered on the sensational and is certainly one of our best dining experiences in Denmark. Together with my husband and son we booked a gourmet weekend with the extended food and wine tasting menues. From start to finish the food was so enjoyable with unique combinations of ingredients paired with wines that we gladly took time to savour. The service was absolutely brilliant with both a professional and personal presentation at the table. As for the rooms, they were clean and spacious with the beds offering a good night's sleep. In the morning, despite servicing a rather large crowd, the breakfast buffet was well organised and regularly replenished and we found the morning staff to be both pleasant and helpful. All and all it was a weekend that earned a place of honour in our Family Book of Memories. Thank you, Nørre Vosborg!

If you are interested in exploring Vinderup, check out a history museum, such as Vinderup Egnshistorisk Arkiv. We’re sure you’ll enjoy your stay at Sevel Kro as you experience all of the things Vinderup has to offer.
We booked at table for 5 adults and two kids. We want for the limousine bead steaks. Loved the season menu suggestion with the fish steak and ruhrabs for deserts. We went to the wine cellar and found the best wine ever. Soooo unexpected good quality for a "Kro" so far out. Wow what a wine experience that was. Top top quality. My best recommendation for family's or business. Karin

Only 700 m from the North Sea in a unique natural area lies Vedersø Klit Camping. An attractive place for a vacation for the whole family. There is a wide range of facilities here such as large heated swimmingpool, playgrounds, 18-hole minigolf course and a grocery store with a large selection for the daily shopping.
We were 4 families gathered together for one week. The house and place were great but the condo was very dirty. the terrace was full of sand and dirt, and the landlord refused to do anthing about it. We had to do the job ourself and it didn't look like this was done since the winther season. We also found bugs and spiders in the bedrooms and silverfish and ants in the pool area. The house lacks maintenance all over and outside at the terrace it was not very cosy. The outdoor furniture was benches like you find in picic areas along the way. Some of the sun beds and chairs were broken. Technologically the appliances is not up to date (as play station and stereo) With holiday in Denmark there is always a chance of bad weather and we had a cold ,rainy and windy week. It was not possible to go to the wonderful beaches because of the wind:-(

Have stayed on a few of their apartments and perfect location, right at the city centre. It is pretty much a home away from home with all the mods and cons. You will probably pay slightly more on the apartments but you have the privacy of like having your own home and comforts compared to being in a hotel. The owner of the apartment too is very helpful and couldn't fault it with anything. Will very much recommend this place for single travellers, couples and even families.
