Walking around the central park in Holguin, I heard some traditional cuban music, it came from that bar, I went in , there was a really good band playing, the beer was really cold the food was hot and it was cheap! 4 beer, 16 croquettes and tip less than $9 cuc you can't get better than that! In Canada they would charge you $10 just to watch the band!

Nice welcome from two kind and nice waitresses. Simple restaurant style, nothing of luxury or fashion but good standard for cuban small town. We was in 4 and we eat a lot, from some starters, beef meat (usually forbidden in Cuba), lobster, dessert, mojito, etc. The waiting time was a little long but the waitresses heads up about the time because the restaurant was quite full. We paid about 20 $, the right price for our big dinner.Thank you P.We are glad to know you did spent a good time in our restaurant. Visited Cuba for a week and needed a place to eat a few meals! Well this place went beyond our expectations. They provided amazing quality food and fantastic service. They served delicious foods from hamburgers, to plantains, to bbq pork to Cuban soup. Just out of this world. We ate like royalty! They served us appetizers, salads, main courses and of course, desert every day! The owners are extremely friendly and are willing to work with any dietary restrictions. They used bottled water in order to prevent any travellers illnesses. Mmm.. such a good restaurant and highly recommended! you will not be disappointed !

Food has always been pretty good here. Restaurant is very central and is honestly walking distance from just about anywhere in Holguin. The waiters also speak English which is not always the case in Holguin.The only downside is the decor isn't particularly exciting but the location and quality of food more than make up for it in my opinion.

Beautiful old building. The name is the date of the first Catholic Mass held. Food was very good, portions large (beef, pork, chicken on one plate) preceded by Cuban salad (grated cabbage, a few peas and small diced carrot), then traditional soup, main coarse, ice cream or parfait type desert. Eat slow. You are on Cuban time! Excellent service.

there were 18 of us and we had a traditional family style dinner/lunch. Bread and drinks salad, were given before tons of food start being serve. We had a band playing Cuban music, and one of us danced a little. Desert was serve and more drinks. Upon leaving the family was available to shake hands and talk with those who wanted to. The restaurant is family owned and ran. A close family friend and son's bride to be made our visit nice, wonderful people. Food was good, music was tasteful,place was beautiful. I would visit again. Second time to this hidden gem. Good to visit for any meal, but definitely best for special occasion (fine dining). First class service and some English speaking staff. Menu is a little pricey compared to other restaurants in town, but, portions are huge. Plan to share entrees and desserts. Both visits were spectacular, once with a large group and this time our family of three.

My boyfriend is very picky and doesn't really like Cuban food, so I need to find a place offering exquisite, high quality Cuban food. The 1910 Restaurant and Bar in HolguÃn has the best offer. It's not really economic though, compared to other options in HolguÃn. But if you can afford good food, I recommend this restaurant. Their shrimps are just delicious and their vegetables always fresh.
