We were being driven around the area by friends and they took us there for lunch.Only a tiny little eating section of a shop but it was looking over the fishing port so a pleasant view. Apparently they are renowned for their sea urchin dish, not being my cup of tea I choose to have the scallop curry which was terrific. The rest of our group had the Sea Urchin and loved it, the best they reckon. So if your in the area and fancy sea urchin this is the place for you and remember the Scallop Curry is lovely also. We are so happy to hear that you had a good time.We will keep aiming to make wonderful tourist sites which are loved by everyone.There is a Lake Toya long run fireworks display held from spring to autumn. Food was big and delicious. Staff was super friendly. They offer scallop with egg rice, similar to chicken with egg rice, but this is a rare find, at least this is my first time seeing this item in a Japanese restaurant. Probably because Hokkaido is well known for their scallop. It comes with miso soup with scallop as well. The miso soup was super delicious with scallop and seafood favour. This is a must have.

The Michi no Eki has a fair selection of offer, resonable prices and good quality. good place to stop if you are ready to stop but I would not make it a point to stop as a destination.
