The steakhouse of grilled meat where black hair Japanese Cattle made in Hokkaido and fresh seafood are baked right in front of the customer
Situated on the fourth floor of an unassuming building you know itâs a special teppanyaki restaurant once you enter the entrance. Great cooking from the Chef, the beef cooked in different ways, vegetables, mushrooms salads, garlic rice or beef Nigiri were great tasting. Brought here by friends this was a great experience. Somewhat a different interpretation from a usual teppan restaurant! The different cooking of the beef makes it unique.

On a snowy night the smell of the barbecued meat took me across the street and up to this wonderful place. Very cozy, has a nice atmosphere, great food, simple concept and worth every last yen I spent in there. Truly the culinary highlight of an amazing city.

They serve lamb in traditional Hokkaido style: using special source and pot.Generally speaking, eating lamb is not popular in Japan, but it is not the case in Hokkaido area. They use unique pot for eating lamb and it allows us to eat lamb like "Sukiyaki".The shop is located near the central station and connected with underpath directory. Please try the traditional style.

I checked the reputation or review via internet site to find three strongly recommended Genghis Khan (Mongolian) BBQ restaurants and this one is the closest from our staying hotel. The restaurant is very casual and the waiters and waitresses are so friendly to guide us to choose the menu and how to cook Genghis Khan BBQ. The fresh lamb meet are very soft and delicious but the most important point we can not miss is ... fresh lamb meat doesn't have odor peculiar to lamb or mutton meat. It is really so delicious and the prices are so reasonable. I strongly recommend this place when you have a chance to visit Sapporo City in Japan.

This is a self-service charcoal heating iron tebanyaki restaurant that serves only lamb, kimchi, sweet onion, and beer and other spirits. The signature lamb was very tender and the taste was great to go with the delicious sauce. Historically, this restaurant group has been the best in our country!! You should eat Genghis Khan whenever you come to Sapporo!!

Booked our reservation through klook. The king crab, lamb and alcohol were worth the price! Decent variety of alcohol too, from beers to sake to whisky! Overall, it was a great experience for us, 1 small downside was that the waitress didn't clarify our order of potato croquettes. We wanted 3 pieces (1 for each of us), similar to the a la carte salmon, but ended with 3 plates of 4 pieces! Luckily, we were still able to devour them down!

We went to this restaurant for an evening meal, it was busy but we waited about 15 minutes. The meat was excellent - lamb (we loved it), beef and pork, also the mushrooms and lots of garlic cloves. The meat was so good we re-ordered and ate twice (the staff were surprised). We enjoyed draught beer. Tip - there are clothes cupboards to store your winter overcoats and reduce the BBQ smell on your clothes. Well worth a visit.

Don't really know what to say...Cheap and nasty...definitely not...Small..yes ...probably can only sit 10-12 people downstairs and less upstairs. We had to wait 30mins which is not too bad apparently but honestly you have to shut yourself out whilst eating cos there will be people waiting just behind you for the next available seats. So if you self conscious in people watching you eat, probably not a place for youThe food....well it's lamb meat...standard or premium meat and they ain't cheap....if two of you, you probably need a second helping unless you are a disciplined eater and say one round is enough ...One lamb chop will costs you 1080yen...No matter what, you should aim for 2000-3000 yen per person regardless...Worth it...probably not if you on a budget..but if u got some spare change and values the experience more than the costs, i would say go for it..Enjoyyyyy

Up until this point, all the Yakitori joints I had eaten at were small affairs with a grill only large enough to handle a few skewers at once. Kushidori is a serious, large scale operation with a couple of dozen skewers being handled at each grill. The layout around the grill is also well thought out with double seat benches surrounding the grill pit. Fantastic for couples and those who want to see the grilling in action. I would recommend one of these over a table or private booth. The food is tasty and prices are reasonable. Overall a worthwhile change from my seafood diet while visiting Hokkaido.
