So don't expect too much, the views are great but we didn't get to see sunset. The blue margherita came without lime/lemon. But just the mere existence of such a bar here in Mai Chau is already impressive enough.
Oh and make sure you wear plenty of insect repellent.

I spent 10 weeks in Hanoi and this little place became my local place to eat!
The first day I arrived in Hanoi, back in February (2015) was the day Lu Quan opened and ever since that time business has been booming because the atmosphere and food and price is just that hard to beat.
Unless you've been doing a lot of walking around Hanoi you're probably never going to find Lu Quan or unless you're hotel is down one of the main artery roads Phung Hung.
The Restaurant is owned by 4 Vietnamese guys, all extremely friendly and easy to get to know. Only one of the owners, his name is Phuc, can speak pretty decent English and will go out his way to make sure you are taken care of.
The best way to order the food there is pointing at the menu card with all the meals on there. The menu Keeps getting better and is now in English after much revision!
Lu Quan is clean, very well-lit, in a very safe area, and now has a flatscreen TV and many powerful ceiling fans to keep you feeling cool all night long during the summer months.
For two people eating all out (excluding drinks), you'll be spending around 300-400K VND, or around $15 for the higher end meals such as the Vietnamese Crab Hotpot, Seafood Hotpot, or Meat Hotpot. They are all very tasty and it's good fun with a few friends. The beer is very cheap too, around 60-70 dollars cents. If you're really on a tight budget you can also get meals from 60K VND and throw in a few beers too!
Above all, Lu Quan is a great place for couples, families and large parties of people and is open daily from 10AM till 12PM.
There is also a special Seating out front on the pavement which you'd have to reserve if you'd like to have a Restaurant experience on the street, or just show up early enough and it should be available.
For Reservations call Mr. Phuc on: 093 673 64 79.
Regards,
David

Baly convention center is a nice place to have dinner or an important events where consists of Cafe Bar, Karaoke, Restaurant, convention center.

The view from this place is spectacular and since it's a bit farther from the town it has a peaceful atmosphere. The drinks are cheap and they also serve good cocktails. In the evening you can spot many fireflies above the rice fields.
