Find out what Chinese restaurants to try in Dharamsala. Serenely spiritual Dharamsala is home to the largest Tibetan temple outside of Tibet. It’s known for its religious iconography and is the monastery of the Dalai Lama, who holds public lectures a few times a year. Once you’ve restored your spiritual energy, enjoy a picturesque stroll to Bhagsu Waterfall or climb the hill to Triund to bask in stunning views of the Himalayas.
Things to do in Dharamsala
we been to mcleodganj and dharamshala for few days in last December.we have been to best restaurants in mcleodganj and in Midtown restaurant also. I believe we had the best food in Midtown restaurant. Tandoori chicken was the bet i ever had anywhere. Food prices were genuine. restaurant was clean and the food was fresh and hygienic. out of curiousity we requested to go to the kitchen and we were surprised to know that they allow us and let me tell you that they have the most clean and organised kitchen we have ever seen in any of the restaurant. Normally the restaurant owners don't allow to peek into the kitchen.we will go to Midtown again whenever we will go to dharamsala.

I'm surprised to find such few reviews of this place.. this was indeed a hidden gem.. the food here was awesome especially the Momos.. in fact everything here was good whatever we tried.. they took a lot of time in bringing the food but that was mainly because it was freshly prepared.. great place for Tibetan food
A mid-range open-air cafe, with a laid back ambience|Fusion/chill-out/ambient music|
The Salvation cafe is at a very beautiful location at Upper Dharamkot, I had food there for three days and my favorite was the white sauce pasta. The chocolate cookies are mouth watering. There were a lot of board games to play with your friends as well, also the music being played is great! The Pet Oreo is a lovely addition to the cafe. Thank you Kshitiz and Anukriti for all the love. Will visit again !

Was planning a quick dinner, and really craving a beer after being without since my arrival in Dharamsala, so was tempted in by the large signs outside the building, inside on the walls and on their fridge advertising Kingfisher. However, apparently beer is currently unavailable.Decided instead to order a lemon ice tea (which was full of flavour and very thirst quenching) and a Szechuan chicken fried rice, which was also recommended. Then had a wonderful chat with a monk who sat nearby and struck up conversation, so went home very happy. If the locals eat here, it must be decent.

This is a brand new restaurant. Its interior design is clean and minimal, which appeals to the aesthetics in us. We serve authentic food with home-made flavour. The catering staff is courteous and helpful. This is a perfect place for a family or get-toget
This is one of the cleaner and well maintained establishments in Mcleodganj. The interior decoration was tasteful and the cutlery was good quality. The staff is very friendly and can help you when you choose from the menu. The menu is pretty standard for a Tibetan restaurant in the area. The first time I went there I got a Bhutanese dish (Kewa datshi) which was delicious. I enjoyed my first meal here so much that I went back again! The second time I went there I got a tomato soup (very good) and a Tibetan Thenthuk (okay). The customer service is excellent and they keep the place open even if you stay past closing hours. Overall, I highly recommend this place for people wanting to try a new place in the area.
An artistically created colourful café in the heart of Mcleodganj. Come here for great food, conversations and stunning Himalayan views. Also, don't forget to stargaze through our transparent skylit roof!

We serve authentic home made Tibetan food and our noodles are freshly prepared, juicy momos, thukpa, pork ribs, and don't forget our authentic Chinese and Thai dishes which are considered to be the best in town.
You can't get a bad dish with the Jimmy's chain. Jimmy's Cafe is personally my favorite followed up by this spot. We ordered some noodles, thubka, and momos. All of which were very tasty. Enjoy!

Had lunch here. We ordered a sizzler. Their method of presenting sizzler is somewhat different than other restaurants. We also had gobi paratha and it was very ordinary. Made of maida and tasteless. Nothing else was served with it, not even curd. The decor is noce but so are the prices - very high. You can get far better parathas at road side dhabas.
