We try to have dinner on a Friday or Saturday evening here every few weeks. They do not accept reservations for parties under 5, so be prepared to wait on the weekend. We particularly enjoy their Jack Daniel's Steak and Shrimp, chicken, and Au Gratin Potatoes. Their appetizers are good. Waitstaff is attentive.

We were passing thru town and DQ sounded good. They had their daily special on the door, so we ordered the BBQ Beef meal which includes a sandwich, fries and drink for $5. The sandwich and fries were made to order and almost too hot to each, but that's sure better than being cold.
The waitress brought us our food. We topped it off with a blizzard.

We went early on a Saturday evening. There were four tables occupied. We were seated promptly and our order was taken soon there after. We ordered the toasted raviollis for a starter and I ordered a salad and the cannelloni for my entree. My dining partner ordered the thin crust meat pizza. I ordered a cocktail with a cola, but they were out of cola. The ravioli arrived, they were overcooked and hard, the sauce that came with it though was very good. My salad never arrived. When our entrees arrived, the cannelloni was broken into several small pieces. At first I did not think it was what I ordered, but it looked all busted up and put in a bowl. The noodle was very rubbery and chewey. It was hot the way I like it but the sauce was refridgerator cold. Terribly dissapointing. The pizza was ok, lots of meat but no flavor. Our server dropped off the check and left. The salad we never received was on the bill. When we took it to the cashier we told him that we were charged for a salad that never came. He never looked up, he just gave us a new total. No I am sorry, oops or anything.

If it is listed, it should be the number 1 in the area.
Loved the toasted ravioli! Great comfort food at reasonable prices. Try to get there every time I am in Hillsboro.

Not a lot of parking and a little small on the inside, but the food that we have had there has been very good every time. Also, the service has been very good every time. They have some different specials every day. The fried chicken is very good. They have a decent hamburger and the Philly Cheese Steak is very good. They are well worth trying out some time if you are in the area. We have been several times and will go back again.

My parents recommended we dine at this restaurant. From the time we walked in, till we left, the staff were Outstanding. We were personally welcomed upon entering and given best wishes upon departing. Great selection of food. The food, selection and price was excellent.
I highly recommend this restaurant and looking forward to returning.

Pizza is good and the breadsticks are amazing. Also had a baked pasta there and it was really good. Definitely get the cheese and garlic sauce with breadsticks.

The night we ate at Lomas Del Sol, our Chimichangas were very bland. Just not much taste at all. I mean it was good as far as the actual chimi's go, but it didn't seem to have any seasoning at all. My wife and I do not like guacamole so we never eat it when it comes with the dish, but our son loves it but he said the guacamole was rotten and he couldn't eat it. Anyway, we probably won't go back again or at least not any time soon. That's all I'm going to say about it because that was just our experience and I'm sure other people really like the food there. In defense of the restaurant, most times in the evening if I drive by there, there are usually a lot of cars on the parking lot so maybe we just went there on an off night for the cooks. Go a head and check it out for yourself, you may really like it. By the way, I do love Mexican food but just not thrilled with what we ate at this restaurant the night we went.

Pizzas are really good since they use quality cheese. Hot and ready in about 15 minutes with a variety of coupons and a monthly special. The only suggestion is for them to put way more veggies on their veggie pizza. Coffeen, IL Casey's veggie pizza is the best in Montgomery County.

Hard to beat their home-cooked meals at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately they are not open all the time.
