Ci sono stato il giorno dedicato alla visita del castello di Hillerod. Il salmone ricoperto con erbette era appena uscito dall'affumicatore ed aveva un sapore ottimo. Anche le aringhe marinate erano state preparate con maestria. Ho mangiato il tutto con l'ottimo pane integrale acquistato nel forno panetteria accanto.

Lovely spot on a raised platform/ dais but you can eat inside. The outdoor seating area almost overlooks Frederiksborg castle.If you are chilly, blankets are provided. Service was welcoming and helpful. The menu is only in Danish but the waiter will explain the fare. Our Goats cheese salad was generous and oh, so tasty, together with the customary accompaniment of rye bread. Try the dark beer, the name of which, I fail to recall. A good experience.

My Mum & stumbled across this quaint cafe after a visit to the nearby Frederiksborg Castle. We had a delicious lunch of fishcakes with salad & chips. The service was quick & the food was very tasty. Afterwards we wandered upstairs & discovered a very hygge area which had been decorated with gorgeous plants, CDs that resembled angel wings and was naturally lit with a sky-light. There we met one of the owners whom was so lovely & explained the cafe's concept. It turns out we worked in the same industry! I highly recommend this cafe not only to locals but visitors whom are in the area. They even make their own bread! I love supporting a local business and this one is worth it!

So hotel restaurants are often disappointing; a place to eat rather than enjoy. This is very different. As you walk along the corridor from reception at Hotel Hillerod, it looks like nothing special. The restaurant is plainly decorated in a typically Danish way. The real event is the food: simple, elegant and beautifully executed. Lamb perfectly seasoned, innovative sauce, just the right vegetables.. And quiet, attentive and knowledgable team serving. Easily my favourite hotel restaurant. And top five of any restaurant I've been to this this year.

I visited after my walking in the nature and in the Frederiksberg castle! I ordered an Americano and chicken omelette! The food was delicious and the staff was gently enough!

We had the Copenhagen and Zürich burger, with regular fries, vinegar fries, cheese bombs and cream cheese peppers, chipotle dip and remoulade.For drinks we had the two shakes; Copenhagen and strawberry.The burgers was delicious, with a nice and juicy beef. The fries (both regular and vinegar) were however not crispy, I think this is due to them being so thick. Itâs a shame, and we had to leave most of them.The chipotle dip lacked some power, we could not taste the chili in it. The remoulade was a bit to sour to our tastebuds.The cheese bombs and the cream cheese peppers were delicious, nice and crisp with melted cheese inside.Also the two shakes were good, the best was though the Copenhagen version!The service is friendly, but it is obvious that the staff is new as they donât have much knowledge of the business.All in all a good experience but with room for improvement!

A little country house in the Gardens of Frederiksborg Castle. A small selection of lunch, very tasty though. Coffee, tea, cacao, pastry, all fresh and mostly organic.Cheap but good quality, nice service.In the summertime its very hard to get a table, but then they also have places to eat outside. But remember its a small cafe so if you know your coming, book a table, just to bee sure that you´ll get one

The cheapest place we found in Copenhagen so far (which does not mean that itâs cheap). Waiters were nice and food was quite good. I suggest their meatballs. The location was really nice too.

The restaurant is very well placed next to the impressive Frederiksborg Castle. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. Menu is limited, but what they do, they do well. The salad bar is an asset. Busy and friendly ambiance and reasonable prices, Value for money.

We were a group who ordered 8 different pizzas. In general the pizzas are well prepared with fresh ingredients, and have great taste.They are baked in a wood fired stone oven which gives a nice crisp crust.There were one vegetarian pizza, the vegetables on this was though a bit boring.
