We were staying at the Marburger Hof, and got back late one evening. Didn't feel like a full dinner, but wanted something light. We decided to try Domingo's, the Spanish restaurant with an entrance on the west side of the hotel lobby. A menu on a stand outside the door helped us find what we wanted. Since it was so late (after 9pm, as I recall), we were almost the only folks there. The decor of the restaurant was quite nice, and the staff was friendly. We ordered just the mixed salad, and tea, and finished with ice cream & fruit all around. The dishes were good--not large, but certainly sufficient. Overall, for a party of four, our bill came to about 40 Euros. Not cheap for salad and dessert, but not too out of line for Germany (which includes a built-in 19% tax). Overall, an enjoyable meal. Hopefully, next time we're in town, we'll certainy to try Domingo's for a proper dinner.
We found in the internet this restaurant. When we arrived it was not easy to find a praking space.Very freindly waitress and a good menu card. The food was warm when it was served. The taste was great and the protion was more than enough.

One of the really must-see spots in Marburg. Deep in the heart of Marburg's Oberstadt, this is a real gem of a pub. It can get noisy once the students shake down their parents for enough cash and then set about drinking the reserves dry! Some lovely beers to be had including the "Altbierbowle" and "Bananenweizbier", both go down lovely and no matter how much of them you knock back, they stay down! Really friendly staff, multi-lingual and the atmosphere is otherworldly.
