We made a reservation one day in advance and came to the restaurant around 7pm. It is located in a quiet surrounding and guests can choose to sit inside or outside (weather permits). We decided to sit inside and the restaurant was rather empty on that Tuesday evening. The food menu was simple with good choices of seafood or German food. The wine list was however, very extensive (i.e. typical for German local restaurants in the area). We ordered lobster cocktail and scallop soup for starters and they were excellent. Both the ingredients were fresh and the spices were top notch. The fish main course was as good as the starter. But unfortunately, it was served with a par-boiled rice. The beef filet steak was supposed to be medium, but they cooked it too well-done. The beef quality was average.During that evening, there was only one waitress, which was rather overwhelmed with the 5-6 tables. We had to wait around half an hour between the dishes. We paid 130 Euros for two starters, two main dishes, two glass of wine and a bottle of water. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant, because the average food quality (relative to the price) and slow serving.

The Italien Ristorante is a nice recommendation when you look for a nice spot in the countryside. Her you can sit outside and enjoy nature. The menue has good choices of Italian style dishes, but you will not find pizza and pasta. The dishes have good size and are tasty. The staff was very friendly and service oriented.

I dined here with family friends for Christmas Day dinner. The menu consisted of a special menu for the Christmas holiday and the regular menu. The Xmas menu consisted of soup, salad, main dish and dessert plate starting around â¬26. Two in our party ordered the steak with mushroom sauce, which they enjoyed, my friend ordered the duck with crispy skin and these dishes from the Xmas special menu were served with veggies or a potato side. I ordered the steak with pepper sauce (18CHF) off the regular menu which came with potato croquettes and a salad. My steak was very tender and had very good taste. The atmosphere was nice as the entire restaurant was decorated for the Xmas holiday season. The service was good, but slightly over-worked due to the constant and full restaurant guests. There is also a small banquet room and a larger more open air dining experience room. Overall, the meals with beverages costs roughly â¬100 and it was a good choice. I have previously eaten at this restaurant a few time before and I would recommend for lunch or dinner. A popular place for the more mature locals and entire families. There is a large outside patio seating area in good weather and the staff is friendly. The restrooms were generally clean.

If you like snails they have a great snail appetizer. The food is always good and they have a small but very nice salad bar. The rindsteak is cooked perfect at med. They do not cook it to death. Friendly staff and have always found someone to speak English if I needed something. I think the prices are good and you get to watch people bowl white you eat but you can not hear them the way the restaurant is soundproofed.

A friend made restaurant reservations here after the New Yearâs for our group of four. The Schwyzerhuesli is a guest house and restaurant in this split complex. The restaurant offers a nice comfy interior with fabric over the chairs and table clothes. There is a garden seating area in nice weather. We ordered our beverages and food and it starting rolling out shortly afterwards. The meal began with an appetizer of fresh bread in the shape of a slice of a pizza with tomato sauce, fresh shredded parmesan and rucola which was excellent. Next we were served a large and hearty salad and then our final main dish arrived. We sampled the beef from the grill, beef with onions (2x), and duck. The presentation of the food was very nice and it was all delicious.Definitely pleased with all aspects of the food, staff and service we received. A good choice.
