Offenbach has a limited offering for restaurants but White Elefant is actually a pretty good choice for an Indian restaurant. It was a busy night in Elefant and we had to wait quite a bit to get service and our food, but luckily we were not in a hurry. An advanced reservation is highly recommended, Their menu is really extensive. Also more than a dozen vegetarian menu options. Good service, not very attentive though. But the main thing, the food - it was very good.

In-dish is a new addition to Offenbachâs bustling gastro scene around Wilhelmsplatz. Sample excellent oriental dishes with spicy flavours from India and Pakistan. The family running the place is superfriendly, and they offer authentic food of a high quality standard. The âsizzling platesâ are delishious. The chef has worked in renowned places e.g. in Dubai. We went there already several times and always enjoyed very good food.

A family cooks, serves and maintains this place. Not good for Indians. It is meant for Germans who believe anything curry is Indian,Hygeine is question mark. Service cannot be good as there is husband, wife and daughter team managing and doing all the work.

I went their with my partner who ordered a salmon with a mustard crust and chutney, and I took the meat plate. When I ordered I asked the waiter which kind of sauces was served with (normally 3 different), he could´t really tell me but assure me it was not the same that the one served with the indian bread with the drinks. Perfect, because I didn´t like it much. When the food arrived, my partner had a simple salmon with a tomato sauce and me too, the 3 others sauces was not with. I asked an other waitress, and at the end of my plate she bring back to me the sauces⦠which was the same that the one served with the drinks⦠Very unprofessional and untasty food. I don´t recommend it, and expensive for what they serve

Great taste, friendly service and clean restaurant! I had a butter chicken. The taste was great. For drinks I had a mango lasi. The prices are low so you won't overpay what you get.
