A great find! Bruce, the crass Australian, had the Teriyaki (meat) burger and chips, I took the veggie version with sweet potato fries. Although the typical teriyaki flavor wasnât so prominent, the burgers were still very yummy, chips and sweet potato fries too - all was well at the little beach!

Steve's place is easy to miss, and not where you'd expect to find it (it's in the middle of an industrial area, right by the customs office). But the journey is worth the effort as the food is excellent and the service warm and friendly. The atmosphere is somewhere between American Diner and Rustikales Lokal, so don't get your hopes up too high. But if you're looking for great American food, you've come to the right place. Steve serves up a variety of dishes, created in the way they'd be created in the area of the USA where the dish originates. Some people say there's no such thing as American Food, but there is. And Steve serves it authentically, at a good price and with a warm heart. The pulled pork barbeque sandwich was the best I've had in a restaurant outside of the southern half of the USA - and would actually compete fairly with many of the ones I HAVE had in the south of the USA! And that's nothing to be scoffed at!Thank you and we hope that you return soon.Thanks againSteve

The soup here changes every day, apparently dependent on the chef's mood and what was available at market. The food is fresh and delicious, as well as healthy. You can get a great soup, a delicious salad, or another side that I've never tried because - let's be honest - why bother. The soup is good enough. There are also always vegetarian options, oftentimes vegan.
