We stayed here overnight en route to the city of Meiningen, Thuringia, Germany. Parking was ample and safe. We could see the car from our upstairs room, which was comfortable and homely. The restaurant offered typically German food, the service was genuinely friendly. We had dinner in a country type setting, conveying a regional feel. There was added a natural elegance, which made the evening special. Breakfast was good coffee, fresh rolls, cheese and the meats German people call 'Wurst'. It was pleasantly provided and made a good beginning to the day. There was help, without asking for it, with our luggage. When we had an issue with our leased car not starting, staff came to the rescue, which we were/are grateful for. They obviously go the extra mile to serve their customers. It would have been good to stay longer. There is enough to see in the surrounding area, the Spessart forest.

Our 11th year in Bad Soden Salmuenster playing in the badminton Sprudel Cup and this was always our favourite place. This time we had to wait nearly 1.5 hours for our food!! My pizza was overdone and had items on that I didn't want. One of us also got a pizza instead of the pasta ordered. We have a job getting another round of drinks and the portion of chips were small. Sorry, never again!! Bear in mind we had booked a table!Nie wieder!!
