What a great place, relaxing outdoors nice views.The chef must love their job food very yummy and presentation is fabulous.Had the Angus burger with camembert, caramelised onion, beetroot etc.Even our drinks served beautifully, my Pimms looked amazing.The staff are so friendly and attentive even with our very limited German.Definitely recommend.

Seit 20 Jahren essen wir nun dort unverändert gut, Salate frisch, alles gut zubereitet, die groÃen Portionen sind kaum zu schaffen und die besten Steaks die ich kenne.Aussage des Kochs und Inhaber: Ich würde nie etwas anbieten, was ich nicht selbst mit Genuss essen könnte - und er isst sehr gerne mit Genuss!Und im Sommer kann man bei schöner Umgebung drauÃen sitzen, auch nur auf ein Bier.

The Obermuhle is set back from the road, and unless you knew about it you would drive past without stopping every single time. The Obermuhle looks to be an old farm house, and you enter through the old barn doors. Once through you are led into a small court yard where a majority of the tables are located (there is also seating inside). The courtyard is quirky and quaint and protected from the elements. If you are a language heathen like me there are English menus! This is a restaurant for the carnivores so if you are vegetarian give it a miss. The steaks can be ordered by weight, so if you are not sure of how big a 500g steak is make sure you have a light lunch! The food is cooked over an open fire pit in the kitchen, and it was cooked to perfection and was divine. The house speciality is to serve the steak with a potato dish, served in an enamel pot with cheese and bacon and roasted. To top it off the beer is also locally brewed and is a perfect accompaniment to the excellent food. Once the sun dips the waitresses light candles on the tables, and also around the court yard, making the ambience even more outstanding. Looking for an excuse to get another business trip in so I can visit once more!
