A place that is booked out on Monday must offer great food, I thought...and it did. All the tapas I tried were just perfect - from the calamari, over the chorizo to the potatoes! The strawberry Hugo (cocktail) as well as the crema catalana were quite delicious, too. So why not 5 points? Service was rather "stressed" and not overly friendly and I needs to "wave" a couple of times during the evening to even get noticed...

The place basically looks like a fairly outdated pub, dark wood bar, tables and chairs. But the selection of tapas is excellent and well prepared, tasty, and fairly cheap. Good value for money. Spanish music, spanish boss, spanish beers, sangria (not being a fan, didn't taste it). We tried gambas a la plancha, tortilla, chorizo frito and a few more... For those who are not garlic fans, I do NOT recommend the place. But for those who love it, gogogo!!!

Spanisches Restaurant
I've been to Restaurant Tennisclub several times over the years and simply don't see why many people rave about it. The food is fairly good but unimaginative standard/trad Spanish menu, plus pizza and schnitzel. The atmosphere/decor is plain - see the foto. The service is unremarkable but they seemed like they wanted to be shutting down when I left at 23:00 on a Saturday.
