For connoisseurs, our Restaurant Sèvres is one of the cityâs finest venues. A gift from the tsarist era gave the restaurant its name: An exclusive exhibition of Sèvres porcelain from one of the most important European producers. It was designed by Jean-Pi
...so why only 4 points? Service was excellent, yes, Food was great, yes, but the ambience was a little very heavy for my taste. Having said that, Food was reallly good, starting sith the amuse bouche - quinoa salad with Serrano ham, followed by the salad and the onsen egg on spinach, with a final chocolate assortment and doppio espresso. All part of the business lunch including wines and water. So back to the 4 Points...55 Euros for a business lunch is a little very heavy to be honest, specially for the small portions - but hey, you are in the Hessischer Hof, aren't you?

My wife surprised me (us) with a wonderful dinner here while touring Germany as part of our recent vow renewal celebration. Reservations were made for 7pm on a Thursday. We were staying at the hotel (Steigenberger Frankfurter hof) so we just popped downstairs and from the moment we were greeted at the door to the time we left we were treated to a wonderful dining experience. The food and service was impeccable. The various food dishes from the tasting menu were unique and engaging. The accompanying service was professional and non intrusive. The restaurant was just busy enough to give it a low level buzz while providing enough space for privacy and the singular enjoyment of the meal. A very nice evening.Dear MisterCheeky,we would like to thank you for taking the time to share your experience in the fine-dining restaurant with us. We are truly touched that you loved it and had a great stay in our hotel. With best regards,Spiridon SarantopoulosGeneral Manager

On a recent stay in Frankfurt, we returned to one of our favorite restaurants, Mon Ami Maxi, and so enjoyed the evening. Sating we "returned" to Mon Ami Maxi is, I think, one of the highest recommendations one can give. The menu is typical French bistro food which is delicious. The atmosphere inside (in good weather, you can also enjoy the food outside) is so pleasant with very helpful waiters. After a busy day in Frankfurt, this restaurant is a wonderful retreat for great food and relaxation. We highly recommend it.
