We had been more than 10 colleagues and were placed on the upper floor in this otherwise very crowded restaurant (on a Tuesday night!). We were given 6 different starters to share and I loved both the funghi porcini, beef tartar, scallops and the calamari, while asparagus and shrimps were also ok. For the mains I ordered orata (dorado) filet with vegetables, a light and still flavourful dish. All in all combined with the nice and relatively low priced Pinot Bianco from Alto Adige as well as a smooth red Malvasia from Apulia this was an excellent experience. Definitely will come back with the family.

Start your culinary journey at Villa Fantastica in Bad Homburg. The restaurant is located at Kaiser-Friedrich-Promenade 45, close by Bad Homburger Kurpark. Spend a cozy evening in best company with a glass of italian wine and excellent food at Villa Fanta
The place locate by the Kurhaus in Bad Homburg is not welcoming from the outside but really cozy in the inside.Food was excellent - perfectly seasoned baby calamari, served with spinach and potatoes...delicious and super tender. Dessert was great too - the cassata had the right texture, the right sweetness and the right size (rather big). I would have eaten all the desserts on the menu (chocolate soufflé, pannacotta, etc.) if this had not been a business lunch where I had to behave...Service was attentive, and very friendly. Prices were affordable (2 persons including drinks for less than 60 Euros). They also offer a 2 course lunch menu for only 15 Euro per person. Overall, a pleasure to find such a place that truly is a "villa fantastica"...definitely worth a repeat.Thank you! We are looking forward to your next visit!

Atmosphere was calm and warm. I ordered risotto and tiramisu. Risotto took quite a bit of time, but it paid off. Slightly salty, but nearly all the German restaurant food were salty to me, so I guess it won't be a matter. Tiramisu was good, but I'm not quite sure why they served with mango sauce. (Like, why..?) Only one staff could speak English, so you could still order without problem. It's located quite far from Bahnhof, but I still revisit to try another meal.Thank you!

Stopped by this Italian restaurant (run by authentic italians) with some friends and really liked it. Attentive staff (despite full house) Saltimbocca alla Romana, fish dishes, pasta and pizza all came well made and tasty. Sure worthwhile to spend some time there.

Good, fresh Italian cuisine using best seasonal ingredients. Fresh seasonal white asparagus were much sweeter and tastier than those at the Hotel Steigenberger, for example. Fresh fish, simply but tastily prepared grilled with olive oil and garlic. Pasta was al dente. Very tasty spaghetti with fresh clams. Good service and reasonable wine selection . My favorite casual restaurant in Bad Homburg.

My wife and I are retired Canadian professionals living in Frankfurt for 18 months. Today, between Christmas and New Years Eve, it was overcast and foggy and wet, and we decided to explore the narrow cobblestone streets of the incredibly beautiful little towns of Kronberg and Konigstein, with their timeless estate/residences. We had made reservations at Miro's (highly recommended) because we assumed, rightly, that the local residents would be a good gastronomical influence! Miros is located on a hillside overlooking the valley below. The exterior is unassuming; the interior is very nicely decorated, warm and welcoming, with linen tablecloths. The owner himself seated us at a table with a view.If readers look at the comments on the attached photos, they will see why we were so delighted with the meal. The flavours and presentation were excellent. The ambience is such that families will enjoy dining, as well as couples looking for a memorable experience. (Why dine at other fine restaurants where the stuffy, stiff formality creates gastric ulcers?)The cost of the meals is entirely reasonable for the high quality and absolute professionalism. We will be back again to explore the menu. Bravo Mirwais!Thank you very much! You have to come back on a sunny day to take a look out of our windows an to see the great panorama. And of course, to explore the menu.We are looking forward to see you, kind regardsMiro

The Turf Club offers North American Steaks and delicious Mediterranean Food. All meat products are exclusively from animals who did live either in wide open land or in the wild! Our food is home made and fresh prepared upon your order.
After visiting the Hessenpark Open Air Museum, we were looking for a good place to eat and stumbled upon this delightful restaurant in nearby Neu-Anspach. Although they don't open until 5:30, the owner, Sylvia (who speaks perfect English) greeted us warmly and invited us inside so my grandson wouldn't be too cold waiting on the patio. Sylvia and her Moroccan husband, who is the chef, could not have been friendlier or more attentive. When they learned we were traveling with a dog, Sylvia (a holistic vet in her day job!) insisted that we bring him inside. The owners welcoming style was second only to the incredible food. Although one of the restaurant's specialties is beef, we opted for the fish. The complimentary starter set the tone for an incredible meal of salmon and sole, which was expertly filleted at the table. While this would not be considered a restaurant for someone on a tight budget, we could not have enjoyed this meal more!
