Tucked in a lovely valley between the Rhine River and the Taunus Mountains, Hesse's capital of Wiesbaden has long been an important spa city, dating back to Roman times when it was called Aquae Mattiacorum. In the 19th century, Wiesbaden also became a popular gambling center. For a soothing plunge, try the famous Kaiser Friedrich's Therme in the city center. Upon entering the little pizzeria, we immediately noticed the cute Italian flags everywhere and how homely the place looked. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter and noticed that all the staff were so nice to their customers! The food came out relatively quickly, we ordered three pizzas that were amazing! The medium pizza was quite hard for one person to finish, so I suggest sharing pizzas. Upon asking for the bill, we were given little glasses of lime slushie and a free shot of limoncello into the slushie which made it taste amazing!Overall, would definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be back!

An Italian family runs the business in a very traditional way. Small, underground but cozy setting. Choose from the daily specials. Pasta very fresh and home made, tagliata Di manzo very tender but came very late! If you like Italian food I will definetelly recommend this place.

You have to be going to this hotel to find it as it isn't likely to be stumbled upon unless you're staying at the Ibis. It's located in a sort of industrial park area. The desk agent at our Marriott recommended it as one of her favorite Italian restaurants and the food was quite delicious. The wine was decent too. I had chicken with vegetables. Those at our table who ate pasta said it was first-rate (I'm allergic to wheat so I skipped it.) I'm glad we walked the 1.7 km from our hotel to this restaurant to celebrate a friend's mom's brithday. It was well worth the walk. The service was prompt and friendly but not intrusive. And they permitted us to take a rose from the table centerpiece for the birthday woman. Very nice.

been alot dining out in Milan, this is pretty much like a place there. And they do know their food well. The cook is a pro, congratulations. From the classical carpaccio, mixed salats italian style, all the way to mains scaloppine, etc to the desert, a true and good Italian place.Be mindful, this is not a pizzeria, but rather a ihend place, so bring your wallet or a credit card ...

We thought it was impossible to get good pizza in Wiesbaden until we discovered De Paola. Not only are their pizza's excellent, they also have great pasta. If you are looking for authentic Italian pizza and pasta, this is the place.

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious, relatively inexpensive meal after an afternoon at the Kaiser Friedrich Therme which is only a block away. She had the calamari dish and I enjoyed strips of chicken breast with potatoes and vegetables in a delicious sauce. After three trips to Wiesbaden, this is the best restaurant we have found. The server we had spoke excellent English and there was an English menu. We will be back for sure.

Open and airy with a modern feel. Menu is mostly Italian with some traditional German dishes. Unfortunately the food quality was rather poor with the Carpacio being disappointing and the monkfish being rather dry
