We came as a party of five to this typical Greek restaurant in the center of Gross-Gerau.Service was friendly but had some problems with the German language, so we felt partially treated rude - especially whilst serving the huge meals: "Make space on the table!".The food itself tasted great, despite it was made with a lot of oil - too much oil for our taste on the fish so we did not eat it.Otherwise a nice Greek restaurant which offered free Ouzo shots before and even after the dinner.

Das griechische Essen von Costa & Eleni ist einfach der Hammer! Wirklich super lecker! Hatte jetzt zum Geburtstag Catering von dort und ist meeega gut angekommen! Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut. Für mich auf jeden Fall der Geheimtipp-Grieche in Pfungstadt und Ortsteile.Danke nochmal â¤ï¸

Excellent Greek Restaurant, great food, good menu, family friendly, quite, low cost. During the summer there is a beer garden, where you can enjoy your meals outside or just meet with friends and enjoy the evening with wine and light snacks

Very good Greek restaurant. Food is simple, but delicious. My favorite is the Bifteki filled with sheep's cheese. The lamb chops are also a good choice, but don't miss the dishes ending with Metaxa, like Gyros Metaxa - Gyros in a Metaxa sauce smothered in cheese.The mixed Ortef (starter) plate is delicious. On hot summer days, we've ordered a double portion and ate it as the main meal.

We visited this authentic Greek restaurant, or to use its proper description, a 'Restaurant Cafe Pizzeria' owned and run by Niko, on a cold, miserable May evening. Happily, the welcome was quite the opposite and we were shown to our table straight away.Drinks ordered, we turned our attention to the surprisingly extensive and reasonably priced menu which can be found amongst the restaurant's web pages at - http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=en&prev=/search?q=makedonia+restaurant,+griesheim,&client=firefox-a&hs=mO6&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&rurl=translate.google.co.uk&sl=de&u=http://makedonia.at/cms/pages/de/startseite.php&usg=ALkJrhgDE3HBWcxGIyUBuE2iY79LMEL5rQMy partner and I chose one each of the 'Gyros' dishes, something that has not, so far as I know, yet managed to cross the Channel into the UK. It's an interesting combination of herbs including chilli, coriander, cumin, paprika, garlic,parsley, oregano, thyme and cinnamon used as a rub on any of a number of meats. Different and very tasty they were too!On our second visit, I went for a chicken breast cordon bleu and that too proved to be very good. At the close of both meals, we were given complimentary glass of Ouzo.Altogether, interesting and enjoyable evenings; worth a visit.

Das Restaurant liegt in Griesheim - etwas versteckt am Sportplatz - ist die Vereinsgaststätte vom Viktoria. Es gibt griechische und hessische Küche. Nette, freundliche Bedienung. Bier frisch vom Fass und alles zu fairen, zivilen Preisen. Das Giros kommt leider schon mal aus der Pfanne und die SchweinefiletspieÃe könnten auch zarter sein, aber die Gerichte sind traditionell gemacht und sehr lecker.

Possibly one of the most interesting architectural buildings in Griesheim. This facility was utilized in the 50s as the officers club. It has been privatized into a restaurant. There have been changes of owners and styles. In 2009 . The building was much more interesting than the food. You might want to ask your friends in the Griesheim area. If the restaurant has become better in the last years.....

At first sight you may not like the Restaurant on the inside, but once you taste the greek food, you will love it and then, who cares how the room looks. Great Food, good Service. We have been there a few times and we love the Food, which is plenty!
